Pedag - Heel Lift – Leather Heel Raise for Achilles Relief & Alignment

I got these to help with Achilles tendonitis. They felt a little hard at first but after a few days, I got used to them. They really help with the pain, and I recommend them. They worked better for me than the squishy ones you can buy from the drugstore. I've been limping for month, icing, doing physical therapy, but these help me turn the corner, and now I can walk like a normal person again! If you're using them for the same injury, I'd recommend putting them in both shoes, not just for the hurt side. It's not much of a lift, but the different height can cause back pain, etc.

UPDATE 010615 - 2-stars to 4-stars - Problem most likely a result of my attempting to use them on my New Balance Men's Revitalize RX Invigorate Slide Sandal . I purchased them so I'd have something to wear with socks around the house, but turns out that the heel has too deep a depression for my Achilles tendon, so I tried these. I bet they work without trouble in shoes with closed heels. - Problem resolved by using a couple strips of Scotch® Permanent High-Density Foam Mounting Tape (or something like it purchased at my local hardware) under each one. My Achilles thanks you, I thank you! - Very rapid response (see the comment on this review) from the manufacturer to resolve my problem. Excellent customer service! - The items themselves are very well constructed. Planning to invest in rubber cement to glue 'em down.

I ordered many different brands of lifts after surgery and leg length discrepancy. This is by far the best one in quality and fit to the heal. It is sturdy, well constructed, yet gentle on the foot. It works perfectly on sandals, too. You can color the edges to match the sandal color. It comes in different sizes, small fits normal women's shoes and narrow sandals, but for wider sandals medium is better.

I like these pedag heel inserts. I have to use just one in my right shoe, to compensate for shorter right leg, or something with my posture, really. I've used one of these for several years and it's very firm and has held up well, compared to others I've used. All they sell in local stores are foamy or squishy inserts which I don't need. The firm insert fits under the footbed cushion in my shoes and stays. The XL size is for men's shoe size 10 and over. I ordered more on here, and I was surprised to receive two in the package. A very good deal, I thought I was only getting one!

The lifts are good quality, as Pedaq always is. You will have to order adhesive separately. There is only a dot of adhesive on the bottom of the lifts about the size of a quarter. It does not hold, not for even a second. I had to say something about the product for Amazon to post this review. BUT DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SELLER. IT SAYS IT'S PEDAQ. PEDAQ USA SENDS THE RIGHT SIZES WHEN YOU ORDER FROM THEIR WEBSITE, BUT THIS SELLER DOES NOT. I have ordered a size L twice and both times been sent a M. Before the second order, I messaged the seller. They promised they had a size large and would ship it this time. I waited two weeks... only to get the wrong size again.

Squishy pads were actually making my plantar fasciitis feel worse. This pad is made of firm rubber with a leather layer on top. It absorbs shock, making walking more comfortable, and also elevates the heel. Unless your legs are of uneven lengths, wear the pads in both shoes. I stupidly used just one for a week and that resulted in hip pain, argh! That was solved quickly when I added a pad to my other shoe.

As good as the Dr gives you. I use in most shoes for comfort.

Two days prior to my departure, I bought a pair of KEEN Women's Presidio Casual Shoes for a week-long trip to China where I would be doing a lot of walking. Needless to say, I didn't have a chance to walk around in these shoes before my trip and by day 3 of my trip both of my Achilles tendons were blistered, bloody, and in a lot of pain that no band-aid could cushion. These were exactly what I needed as they elevate my heels just enough so the backs of the shoes aren't hitting that sensitive area of my Achilles tendon. I only wish I had purchased them prior to my trip. With these lifts I can now walk for long periods of time in my KEEN shoes comfortably. They also don't stain lighter colored socks like another, darker colored leather pair I've had in the past.

Das Fersenbett als solches macht einen guten Eindruck, aber: meine Dummheit keine Preisvergleiche vorher zu machen, es ist mit über zehn Euro fürs Paar drei bis vier Euro zu teuer. An welcher Stelle die angegebenen 0,5 cm gemessen wurden, bleibt mir ein Rätsel, andere Händler schreiben ca. 1 cm Höhe, das kommt wohl eher hin. Also mußte die elektrische Brotmaschine her und so habe ich eine Scheibe abgeschnitten. So kann ich sie wenigstens noch benutzen.
