Worth every penny!
Needing to replace several structural posts on my deck ranging from 32 inches up to 8 foot in height. I spent hours combing through Amazon reviews to find a product that didn't have every 3rd or 4th reviews talking about how the product failed. For the work I was doing, even a slight product failure would not only result in thousands of dollars in damage, but it would also create a dangerous work environment. Luckily, everything i reviewed on Amazon and through other sites kept brining me back to this one product. Since my original purchase of 2 of these. I've used them numerous times, without a single hiccup in their performance. Lift capacity was 20 ton, and I purchased two. Their size is small enough for easy storage but strong enough for the biggest jobs. I especially liked the ability to increase the height by unscrewing and extending the top.

Big red biceps lifts things
Lifted a fully loaded P30 Step Van with ease to change and repair tires, didn't even break a sweat. Only about 10,000 lbs, so small potatoes for this, but I've used other bottle jacks in the past to lift similar loads and have had much less desirable outcomes. The clearance on this was low enough to wedge into position, but it lifted high enough to remove the monster wheels & tires. The jacking motion is extremely efficient, (keep it PG here people, lol), which is to say there's little setback, meaning every bit of raising & lowering of the arm translated into moving the height of the jack. Although I secured my step van with big beefy jack stands, I did first test this by keeping the weight on this jack while having the height of the jack stands slightly lower, just to see if this big brute would hold 10k in weight without losing any height, and it consistently held for over an hour without the slightest drop in elevation. Things were looking good. Welds were all adequate on mine. The integrated handle is a must, since this thing is a porker, but that's why you want it. The paint finish showed no signs of marring even after sliding it on asphalt a few times from one side of the rig to the other. Overall build quality was stout and impressive. To top it all off, when it came time to lower this, none of the usual bottle jack pitfalls occurred, which is to say it didn't seize up when it came time to drop down, and it continued to lower completely without me having to stand on it to lower the rest of way, (as is the case for many of the bigger bottle jacks). I took a chance on this, knowing full well I could've went to Harbor Freight and got their 20 ton for the same price, or even lower if I'd have waited for a coupon, but after thoroughly scrutinizing their 20 ton bottle jacks in store, I'm completely convinced this is a better made piece of equipment. Overall, I'm completely thrilled to have bought this and I'd strongly recommend it to anyone, (unless of course they didn't need a bottle jack).

Worked well for the project.
This worked well. My camper Jack was not working so I placed a block this jack underneath my failing jack and was able to lift camper off truck.

Good product for the money if you don't want to fork out $150-200 for a floor jack
I bought the Torin Bottle Jack despite having read the critical reviews: 1) bleeding, 2) jack not lowering on its own when pressure is released. I have used the product once so far to rotate my tires on my Toyota Tundra. This product isn't like the typical floor jack you're used to. This Bottle Jack will take about 50-70 + pumps of the lever to jack the vehicle in the right position. At first I was pretty annoyed by this because I was used to a floor jack that elevated faster. But, I realized I paid for a $30 Bottle jack as opposed to $200 for a good quality floor jack. So I'm okay with that inconvenience. Also, this reaches a maximum height of about 15.5" which presented a slight problem for me because extending the jack to 15.5" inches at the lowest point on the frame didn't create enough space between the tire and floor after the vehicle was lowered slightly on the jack stand. So, I placed the bottle jack on top of two thin pallet boards, which alleviated the problem. This did not create a safety concern. In fact it helped two-fold, by also ensuring no dents were created in the ground surface . Regarding the concern about the jack not lowering on its own when pressure is released-- I did not find this to be a huge issue. Yes, there remains some pressure between the jack and the vehicle after the jack is lowered to its lowest possible point by the weight of the vehicle. But a little tug on the side handle pulled the jack out with no problem. And then, using a pallet board and my own body weight, I was able to lower the jack completely. Again, not an issue given that I was able to get two bottle jacks for $60 instead of one jack for $150-200, which gives me a lot more flexibility when doing routine maintenance on my truck. As for the bleeding issue. Others noted bleeding after first use. I have only used it once and didn't notice any bleeding yet.

Sturdy but came without enough hydraulic fluid
The jack is very sturdy and heavy. The pump bars feel a bit thin. The jack I received had almost no hydraulic fluid in it. Low fluid can fail under heavy load but it will raise up just fine out of the box. Remove the oil port and with a flashlight you should be able to see the fluid is just below the port when fully retracted. If you can't see the fluid then it needs some.

You are about to take this one from behind!
Complete piece of trash. This junk junior high school shop project didn't even come with hydrolic oil in it. I had to use nearly 3/4 of a quart of my own oil to fill it. I'm very surprised that they didn't send me the entire jack in different pieses and tell me to weld it together myself. And then what do you supose these unthinking, uncaring people expect you to do in order to finish their job for them? Take almost an hour of your time to jack the hydrolic handle up and down in order to build up some sort of preasure so that the hydrolic ram will raise. This is done because there was no oil in jack. I will play with this (joke jack) tomarrow in order to see if I can get some form of functionality out of it. At his point in time it will be going back to Amazon.com if I cannot get it to do something. It is pointless to keep this garbage jack at all. Instruction manual is not much help. There is very little build up of pressure anywhere. This jack is nothing but trash. I did manage to get it to do one thing, it now leaks oil from the hydrolic pump handle.

Works well and good value.
Arrived fast and exactly as advertised. No leaks unless you leave the lowering valve open too much. Works well and good value.
