Safe-er-Grip 16-Inch Suction Cup Grab Bar for Bathtub and Shower, White

I installed this suction grab bar in my shower, and it works wonderfully. I was a bit skeptical about suction cups at first, but this one is incredibly strong and sturdy once locked in place. It doesn't budge at all and provides excellent support when getting in and out of the tub. It’s very practical since it requires no drilling, so it won't damage the tiles. Just make sure to install it on a smooth, clean surface. It really adds an extra layer of safety to the bathroom. Highly recommend!

Excellent product. Excellent suction and hold making it safe to grip. Definitely recommend. It’s very clear some people on here don’t know what they’re doing when attaching to shower wall. One guy said it fell off wall after a month. Well duh lol….you have to dbl check that it’s holding tight before getting in shower each time and resnap the clamps if not.

Worked well after I cleaned the shower surface twice. The first time I grabbed it, one side slipped and after the second cleaning and reinstall it worked well.

This handle bar was well made, with what felt like quality materials. One thing to keep in mind is that you can attach this to tile, however, the spacing in the tile is SUPER important. The problem I had with it is my uncle's bathroom has the old style square tiles and if I centered one suction cup on the tile, the other suction cup would be interrupted with the seam in the tiles. The handle bar would firmly attach, but if a strong enough wind blew, it popped off the wall or it would immediately fall to the floor. The suction cups are activated by a flip switch on both ends of the bar.

Well constructed, suction cups are powerful, very pleased.

This is the second one of this brand I've had in 2 years and I'm just now replacing it. You have to check each time because the suction will occasionally break and the grip can be unsafe. Clean the tile with lime cleaner if it needs it. There can be no soap scum. (Never use anything labeled as soap and you won't get scum. Use body washes.) After a year or two the plastic will become more rigid and they will fall off and not stay on. Then they're done, but this one lasts better than the others. I'm giving in a 5 because it does about as well as can be expected from a suction grip. I got one of the fake chrome ones with a worse suction and it didn't stick a day. Suction isn't the best solution but I can't drill on this wall.

This is a good product. My experience with one of the two handles was not staying put and one of the pads would loose suction about twice a month. The other handle stays put, no issues with it. And yes I cleaned both surfaces. I ordered another handle, same brand, and I was sent a used/recycled one. Sent that back for a replacement one...Hopefully a new one. Ultimately, when it works as advertised it is a quick and helpful item for entering and exiting the tub/shower with confidence of not slipping and falling.

Some 4 years after purchase, still fully intact and works for strong support as a shower bar/grip. It was simple to move and install in two different showers. Just remember that it needs a fully smooth surface, like a fiberglass shower wall (no grout lines), and clean the surface before application.

This works excellently. Doesn't look too intrusive either. Seems very strong and is a great help getting down the step out of our shower.
