Good snake for home studio.
The 35 ft length was important. Price is reasonable.

Works well but not rugged
Great looking snake that is works like it should but isn't incredibly durable. If you will be moving this snake around a lot I would recommend getting a snake with high quality connectors such as Neutrix or similar. One of the plastic parts on one of the male connectors already broke in less than a month. Not sure if someone stepped on it or what but nonetheless not incredibly durable.

I'm not too happy with the quality of the wires inside this dropsnake
Update Jan 4 , 2017 I received a "replacement" for the other snake and now his one has 4 .. FOUR! Bad channels after regular use .. I baby this drop snake as it's my keyboard rig snake on stage. And STILL , it's crapped out yet again. Not happy after I contacted seismic audio to replace this defective snake and they said they couldn't find my order .. smh I'm not too happy with the quality of the wires inside this dropsnake.. It's only 6 months old and at least 2 inputs are no longer working.. no bueno. I had to return.. hopefully they'll fix the issue so it wont happen again. I heavily rely on these as it allows me to run playback stems for musical performances

Perfect for my application. Needed a short 8 Channel snake for the front of a stage. This solved the problem.

It's ok. But now I need more channels now.
It was build very fast and parts are a little dirty. Everything is in working order, I have it setup in my studio. Always get the snake length longer than what you need, I have the excess tip tied to my desk and it's out of sight. It came in the mail with nothing else in it, which I appreciate because that means they didn't waste money into advertising and more into the product but, or so I thought. Maybe mine just wasn't exactly "new". There was dirt and scratches on the box, I'm not sure I would buy another.

Not Impressed
The parts used in this box are very cheap. The construction is good, but I had problems within a month of using it normally. 2 of the channels cut out if you wiggle the cables plugged into them (yes I tried different cables). I opened it up to check the solder joints and as It turns out, the majority of the solder joints were done very poorly. That wasn't even the problem though... After I re-soldered everything, I was still having the same issues. The jacks themselves need to be replaced because of bad connections internally. If it weren't for the other 6 working jacks this would have gotten a 1 star.
