Some Trouble but got to work....read for my tips how to get it work
I wanted to try this camera because it says it has a wider angle, 125 degrees vs current 90 degrees, so I could get better coverage on my front porch. After receiving broken install CDs and going through a lot of trouble, I finally got the camera to work and was dissapointed. It may be fine for your uses but I was unhappy with the quality of the video. At the end of review I provide the tips that got the camera to work. -- BROKEN CD/POOR SUPPORT: The CD with the IP Finder software was broken in 1/2 (see picture). You need this to set the IP address to within your LAN address range. The website shown in the manual does not work so there nowhere to download the IP Finder. A question posted on the webpage was never responded to. After contacting directly via amazon I got the download needed. Some tips at the end on this -- 1st CAMERA DOA: I could not tell even if the 1st camera was powered up. Using both a power adapter and a POE to power the camera and then covering the lens to block light, I could not see the IR lamps illuminate. So even with power applied 2 different ways the camera was not working. The 2nd camera replacement powered up OK. -- POE WORKS: The POE switch I have is a good one and indicates if the camera is drawing POE power or from an adapter. With an adapter plugged into the camera it still showed drawing POE. Another indication it was broken. The 2nd camera was operating after installed -- AWKWARD INSTALL: The physical installation is awkward. The camera is a ball that is not attached and will fall out when you remove the outer ring to attached the top to an eave. --- NO CAMERA ATTITUDE REFERENCE: There is no indication on what direction is up on the camera ball. It could easily be installed upside down and you would not know until you see the video. -- NO NETWORK ACTIVITY LIGHT: The Ethernet socket does not a light or blink to indicate Ethernet activity to the camera. That feature is very handy for trouble shooting . -- CABLE INTERFERES WITH POINTING: When installed, the cable out of the back of the camera prevents tilting up the camera. -- GOT CAMERA TO WORK: After much fiddling around I got the 2nd camera to present video. -- NVR ONVIF RECOGNIZED: After going through all the steps mentioned in the tips below, the camera was recognized via ONVIF by one of my NVRs which is this case was a YESKAMO product. -- RUNS BOTH H264 and H265. Both encodings are supported when selected in the cameras configuration. -- POOR VIDEO: As I said I was using the camera for a front porch entry. The picture was poor. Straight lines of the iron bars were jerky not straight. The exposure from light to dark was extreme. I could not see the black street in the sunlight. The colors were off on the porch where the rock is and seemed pixelated.Read on for the tipsTIPS TO GET TO WORK: -- GET THE KINGKONGSMART SOFTWARE:The CD on both units I received was broken. To get a copy of the CD, You have to contact KingKongSmart via Amazon and provide them a picture of your email. Amazon will remove any email you send them if not provided as a picture. After a few days I received a link to download the KingKongSmart software and was able to run their install and run it.-- TURN OFF VPN:For whatever reason the config software that searches for IP and reassigns in your network range could not find any cameras.......that is until I turned off the VPN on my PC. Once I turned off the VPN the config tool found several cameras in my system including the just connected KingKongSmart camera. -- RUN THE DEVICE MANAGER: More then likely the IP address of the camera is out of your router address range. The manual for the camera says the default is 192.168.1.110. Run the device manager in the software package provided. In my case it found the camera and automatically assigned it an IP address in my routers range and it was 192.168.0.110. --CANT RUN CAMERA CONFIG DIRECT WITH IP ADDRESS. All cameras allow you to run its configuration by using its IP address. Enter the address into a browser and you get the cameras config page. I tried running the cameras config by accessing directly by entering the IP address in the browser. I got messages that Firefox was to new and the Device Manager would not work properly and indeed it did not work. I tried and older version of Internet Explorer and it also would not work. Eventually able to use the VMS software supplied with the CD (or sent to me from KingKong) to configure the camera. VMS allows you to make the same configuration changes as when accessing the camera directly. -- CONFIGURE CAMERA USING VMS:In the software package there is a copy of VMS to install. I installed this with the camera at 192.168.0.110 and was able to see video and able to access the configuration of the camera using VMS and change settings to my preference. -- CONFIGURE TO NTSC: The camera came set for PAL, the European video standard. I the US we used NTSC. I had to change the camera from PAL to NTSC. Using the VMS app and selecting Device Config/System Config you can change to NTSC. -- CONFIGURE ENCODING:The newer compression standard is H265. My particular NVR will only do H264. Fortunately the camera can be configured for either. Using the VMS app and selecting Device Config/Encode Config you can change the compression. Conclusion: A lot of trouble to get to work and then the picture was poor, to far below what I can get with other cameras to even consider this particular model. I have another model camera from KingKongSmart that is good but this model flat out doesn't cut it.

wonky setup
Even using google translate, the web page has nothing to indicate the link to do setup for the device. It’s pretty much forcing you to use the software on the mini cdrom which is being flagged as infected with malware.

Very nice!
These cameras surpassed expectations This location had LED lighting which made some weird light strobing effect but nothing serious. The audio is great as well. I used with Amcrest 4K 16ch POE NVR ***

very cheap
You get what you pay for. This may be ONVIF compliant for my NVR. but, this is not 1080P compliant. very grainy picture

Works Great
Works well with Zoneminder. Web Interface in camera seems a little buggy but all in all its a good camera for the price. Build quality is very nice. I will purchase again as needed.
