Review: A superb, quality investment! - Superb! Looks and feels like an expensive rug :-) After months of deliberating, I finally decided to purchase the Cobalt Blue/Spice rug in 7’9” x 9’6”. It totally exceeded all of my expectations as far as color, feel and softness. It was shipped beautifully- nicely rolled up. It layed out flat immediately - just a little curling on the edges that flattened out after a few hours ( with heavy books on each edge to do the trick). It made a boring room look elevated and elegant.
Review: 🏆 Best of all time purchase on desertcart. Love it! - I’m back 3 years after purchase and I have to give this rug the “desertcart purchase I think about every single day” award! 🥇 This rug is absolutely stunning. I just sold my house and so many people wanted to buy it with the house, hands down this was the most wanted item by buyers. We brought it with us to our new house. I love the way it feels, I love the colors, my cats love it. I’m trying to replicate this exact feeling with a more beige rug, but haven’t been able to find a similar one. It looks expensive, and feels good on your feet, it isn’t exactly the “feels like a teddy bear washable rug” like some others are, I would comp it to a soft denim. We have a rug pad underneath. I’ll add a few pics. * I was not paid in any way for this review, I purchased this at full price. I was not incentivized whatsoever for this review.*

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do I get my rug edges to lie flat?**
A: New rugs may have slight creases or turned edges due to secure packaging. This can last for a few days. To flatten the edges, place a heavy object on the corners or try reverse rolling the rug.

**Q: Why does my rug look different than the photo?**
A: The colors of your rug, and how you perceive them, can vary due to a room’s lighting, decor, and your viewing angle.

**Q: Why does my rug shed?**
A: Rugs made of natural fibers, like wool, tend to shed because of loose yarns and the rug’s settling process. This is most common—and expected—when rugs are new, and usually decreases over time. Feel free to trim as needed. This is not a defect.

**Q: Why does my rug smell?**
A: It’s common for rugs made with natural fibers to acquire a smell during shipping due to moisture. Once the rug is unrolled, the scent will fade after a few days, especially if the room is well ventilated.

**Q: How do I clean my rug?**
A: Immediately remove any spills by blotting with a dry cloth. Regular vacuuming will remove embedded dirt and prolong the life of your rug. We recommend removing the beater bar before vacuuming. For deep cleans, use a professional cleaning service.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🏆 Best of all time purchase on Amazon. Love it!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best rug! So cute and durable!
*by S***R on July 28, 2026*

So I waited a year to write a review about this rug and I am so happy with the quality and how it’s held up over time! I have a toddler, a baby, a cat, and we have people over at our house constantly so I’d consider it a “high traffic area”. We are a no shoe household and yet this carpet still had seen better days. I attached a photo of what it looked like after a full year 🫣 (first photo) yes, dirty, I know! So I decided to take it to the local laundromat because it wouldn’t fit in my washer at home. I sprayed some stain remover on it, let it sit, and just did a normal cycle with regular detergent. This rug doesn’t say it’s machine washable but it didn’t stop me from trying! It ended up coming out perfect, all stains gone, and I let it air dry at home so I didn’t risk damaging it. It looks brand new again!!! (Second photo) I’m so happy with this rug. It did get a small tear from where the wooden leg of the couch sits on the rug and with the kids jumping around on the couch and it moving back and fourth, it must’ve wore it down in that one spot. Nonetheless, the rug is worth the price in my opinion! It’s soft and not scratchy or rough. I did add a pad under it so that helps it from not sliding around. And yes it’s very easy to vacuum as well! I use my Dyson on it, either low or high setting, and both work perfectly fine. If you’re thinking about getting this rug, just do it!!!
