This is the first Kindle edition book I have ever read...and I am so impressed with this particular book. The author presents a well-documented and well thought out comprehensive guide to all aspects of identity theft, from the various types & scenarios of identity theft, to preventive actions one may take to avoid becoming a victim, to an exhaustive list of letters and supporting documents you can use to clear your good name if you have found yourself a victim.This is surely a must-have guide for all interested in this topic. It is like having an attorney stand by your side and advise you on best practices to stay safe and to maintain your financial/medical/personal privacy in this increasingly digitized society.I am thankful to have read this book and plan to put in practice many of the suggestions on privacy and safety made by the author. I will hold on to this book as a valued reference for both myself and others in my life.

This is a good book. Many of the techniques in the book are valid. A person must look at the fact that technology is changing at such a rapid rate that it could be out dated in 2 days, but the technique principles are still valid. Be ready to adapt your current activity to the current age is the only negative thing that I can say. So all in all, a good book!

After I lost my driver's license in a public arena and it wasn't found and returned, I started to panic. I downloaded this book and it gave me such excellent advice for ways to protect myself. And now, I can sleep again. Nothing will protect you 100%, but if you have a problem, this book will walk you through getting it remedied. Thank you for writing it.

This book gives thorough and comprehensive advise on what to do and what not to do to prevent fraud and identity theft. Mr. Weisman then provides step by step,detailed instructions,including form letters to the appropriate agencies, on how to rectify the nightmare if that were to happen to you. This book is an absolute necessity to any American who has a social security number...so EVERY house hold cannot afford to be without this book.....and it was free no less!!!. Thank you,Mr. Weisman for this public service because I now at least feel prepared to take on that under belly of society...however,...hope I don't need it!

A large percentage of people use digital equipment in many aspects of their lives and identify theft happens constantly. Being a victim of it cannot only cost you money but take years to get things straightened out and get your identity back. This book concentrates on our digital age and offers way to keep identity theft from happening to you. Buy it, read it, and use the information!!

Lots of excellent suggestions in this book. If we all followed them we'd all be a lot safer. Identity theft is a big business now so knowing what to watch for and waht to do is imperitive. I'm glad Weisman put this book together for the rest of us.

This ebook contains practical information for everyone, even if you don't have a ctrdit card. NOT carrying your SS card in your wallet is information that for everyone. Advice about traveling is also practical and to the point. Crooks are everywhere and only YOU can protect yourself.

This book should be in everyone's "must read" list. It is sad that so many people have fallen victim to an identity theft but there are ways to help to reduce the risk (unfortunately not eliminate) and this book will point those out. Who would have known that copiers manufactured before 2007 would store all the information in them which is easily accessible to a thief? Very valuable information and I highly recommend this book.
