Reeves White Tiger Paint by Numbers Set, Medium

The paints in this set are very thin and don't cover well. In the attached picture the blue is two coats but the rest I did in one coat to see how transparent they really are. I didnt finish the picture as the paints were so bad and I didnt want to do multiple coats with such thin paint.The majority of the picture requires mixing paints, but no advice given on technique.Also as seen in my second picture, there are a few sections where two separate colours are needed but there is no line inbetween. This could be on purpose to encourage creativity, or it's just poorly made.
