Many Luscious Lollipops: A Book About Adjectives (Explore!)

My 6 year old daughter loved this book and it’s definitely expanded her vocabulary and storytelling. It’s a fun, cute, completely unserious way for children to learn about adjectives and use them in everyday sentences.

I read this in college for a course and I still enjoy it to this day. It’s the perfect book to discuss adjectives as it gives so many!

The whole series os fabulous!! My children and students were intrigued and educated!!

then get this book adjectives and how we use them. Heller also has beautifully drawn books about interjections, nouns, adverbs, verbs and more. Each one presents the purpose of the part of speech in left brain and filled-with-wonder drawings that will not bore the average child or adult. study them and your language and your writing will improve.

We have the language series by Ruth Heller, and love it. The illustrations are incredible, and really help make learning language fun. Plus, we use the books for our homeschool art classes too! They are a tremendous inspiration for the girls when painting.

I thought this was a strange title for a book as there was only one page with Lollipops. Pictures were colorful but too much wording and trying to explain what was going on to my grandkids who are 4-6. I think this book is more appropriate for older kids that have had more language skills in school and know what an adjective is. I read it in a more simplified version and I think they were still confused.

My class has enjoyed Many Luscious Lollipops! The fast delivery of this book and it's condition was excellent! I was a little surprised to see that it was small, but it turned out to be more manageable for first graders. Thank you for provided wonderful service!
