Dunlop DJN1236 Banjo Strings, Nickel, Irish Tenor, .012–.036, 4 Strings/Set

I used these strings on an old tenor banjo. I'm new to stringing a banjo, so I flubbed the first attempt. I bought two more sets because the strings are sturdy, no loop ends breaking or coming un-twisted.I will be using this brand again.

Bought these for my four string banjo. They work fine. What can one say about banjo strings? They seem to be of good quality and are easy to mount. When strummed: music issues forth! What more can one ask for?

They are certainly banjo strings; I found the sound to be a bit tinny to my taste, more suited to American folk than traditional Irish music, but to each their own.

These are for a Tenor Banjo with the alternate "Irish" tuning. They work just fine for that.

String broke (the 24W string ... really???) during first tuning. Will be sticking with D'Addario's.

I'm playing an 80 year old banjo again and loving it.
