Are these batteries compatible with vape pens?

Hey Angela, I used those in my shaver regarchabke battery and I cannot comment specifically to your question. The battery was no use to me because it gets over heated.

What is the voltage per battery ? How many do I need to create an 18volt battery pack ? Thanks

The batteries have 1.2V per cell. An 18V battery pack would require 15 cells in series.

Is there solder tabs on the bottom as well as top? Can't tell by the picture but I assume there are on the bottom?

Yes, they have solder tabs on both ends. Also, the tabs are both facing the same direction, which made making a battery pack a little more difficult. Great batteries though!

Can i use 1600mah instead of 850mah i am trying to replace?

Yes you can. When it comes to batteries, you can go up in amperage but not down. The device you're putting it in has a rating on it. If you go lower, it will "die" faster. With the higher amperage, it will last longer.
