Is it possible for this stand to hold a guy up that weighs 400lb ?

I wouldn’t count on it Clay. The foam seat hangs from the frame so it doesn’t even do well supporting my 230lb frame. I’d recommend looking at stands with a similar style seat frame as a millennium M50 (two bars with solid webbing between them). I’ve never seen a tree stand guarantee for 400lbs except for maybe doubles.

what is the weight limit it for this stand? most are 300 lbs. is this the same or more since it's for big dogs!

Yes it can be removed, buy removing the hinge bolts.

It does very basic. I tossed it I have a hunter safety system.
