Q: The descripition says it can jump start. Has anyone used that feature?

The G15000 features a 5 minute, 20A Jump Charge mode that can be used to rapidly increase the voltage on a heavily discharged battery. It jump starts all kinds of 12V vehicles though the process may need to be repeated two to three times for larger vehicles.

Q: Is this actually made in the usa or assembled in the usa or made in china?

Box says: "designed in the US, Made in China". I have this newer model and about a 5 year old one. Perhaps the older model was still made in the US. I will tell you however that these are the battery maintainers/tenders/chargers that I have ever used.

Q: will it jump the engine

Yes. It can. I verified this function. It's called 5 minutes' JUMP CHARGE. but always remember, Insert the power plug ONLY AFTER you connect the battery. when you are done connecting the + and - terminal of the battery, THEN you can insert the power plug into the wall power outlet. It will take 5 minutes to charge the DEAD battery from Zero back to LIVE enough to JUMP-START your vehicle. I approved this message. It works!

Q: Which model is a maintainer and jump starter?

G15000 and G26000 both are a maintainer and Jump Starter. I verified. but you need to wait 5 minutes to JUMP START a DEAD battery vehicle. Beware, YOU CAN ONLY insert the power plug into the wall power outlet AFTER you connect the battery. When you are connected, then insert the power plug and then, PRESS the JUMP CHARGE and WAIT for 5 minutes. YOU WILL BE impressed after 5 minutes.
