Who is Naissant Icy Cool for?

Icy Cool is the range's strongest violet — for platinum, bleached and light blonde with strong yellow, and for keeping gray, silver and white hair yellow-free. It refines tone to a brighter, icy-cool finish, with HA, biotin and collagen for softness.

How is Icy Cool different from Pearl Blonde?

Both use the same violet pigment to cancel yellow. Icy Cool just uses much more. Pearl Blonde is the gentle everyday tone for a soft blonde; Icy Cool is maximum strength for stubborn yellow and a cooler, icier blonde.

What's the difference between the shampoo and the mask?

Always use them together. The pH 6–7 shampoo cleanses and pre-deposits violet to prime hair; the pH 3.5–5.5 mask brings the strongest violet to deepen correction, smooth the cuticle and seal tone. The most even, icy result comes from both.

How often should I use it — will it dry my hair?

A toning shampoo cleanses deeply and can feel slightly drying — that's why Icy Cool is a system. Always follow it with the mask: low pH, hyaluronic acid and panthenol re-hydrate, smooth and seal. Used 2–3× a week, hair feels soft, not stripped.

Will it turn my hair purple?

As the range's strongest violet, Icy Cool works fast — follow the timing on pack. Used as directed it refines to a clean, icy blonde, not purple. On very light or porous hair, start with a shorter mask time and build up to the correction you want.
