Founded in Scotland in 1856 by American entrepreneur Henry Lee Norris as the North British Rubber Company, the brand has a history of innovation and pioneering design. In 2011, UK-based Searchlight Capital Partners L.P. became majority shareholders in the company. Signalling the start of a new path for the brand, James Seuss was appointed CEO in 2012, followed by Alasdhair Willis as Creative Director in 2013. Under Alasdhair Willis's creative direction, Hunter launched Hunter Original with a runway show at London Fashion Week, showcasing new footwear, outerwear and knitwear, alongside the iconic Original boot. Hunter Field, a new brand category, will be unveiled for spring/summer 2015. I have bought rain boots in the past for my daughter and she complains they do not fit right. She was hesitant to try yet another pair of boots. She tried these hunter pink boots and loved the overall comfort. She says they keep her feet warm but can still run in them like nikes.  Great shoes for rainy Seattle weather. They match with most any 7 year old wardrobes. When they get muddy I clean them with a bleach wipe and they look brand new again.  She can wear them outside in the mud and even has worn them to church. They look classy and she gets tons of compliments she tells me. Hunter boots are worth every penny for a kid.  Best shoes I have bought for my daughter in her whole life.

These boots are so beautiful in person. I ordered a pair for my god daughter and a second pair for my toddler. They fit more loosely than other size 5T shoes that my daughter owns but I love it because they will last longer. She can't communicate to me if they are comfortable but she loves putting them on by herself and wearing them around the house. I take that as a thumps up! Can't wait to order more colors in the future. -Pete's Wife
