Very Good Pan
It took me a while to get used to this pan and I am finding the main point for me is that I don't need my heat so high now, therefore saving energy. I was a bit surprised and worried that the pan felt very light compared to my old one, but the pan heats up pretty fast, and after a few weeks of daily use (with only silicon tools & hand washing which is super easy) it is showing no scratches or signs of wear.I am cooking with virtually no fat now and I am surprised every time how well my food is coming out. I have cooked meat, fish, vegetables, sauces and omelettes all without any added fat and all have come out perfectly, and in some cases I would say better. I was especially surprised that I can "fry" large cod steaks with no fat and they turn out beautifully done and crispy in all the right places. The heat distribution is good across the whole pan, the handle does not get hot and is sturdy to hold and I like that it's riveted on so super safe. The sides of the pan are deep so good for stir fries, and the best part is the bottom is perfectly flat! This is a very versatile pan and there isn't much I can't cook in it.I am very fussy with my pans and this one (so far) is really impressing me. I would buy again and highly recommend it.

An outstanding product and genuinely non-stick!
I purchased this pan (Tefal Titanium Excel 28cm) on offer for £25.19 after reading numerous positive reviews. It's not often that I find a product worthy of 5 stars but this pan is truly outstanding!Initially I was skeptical of the "titanium" non-stick claims, but after several months of use I can honestly say that absolutely nothing sticks to this pan! Spanish omelet? No problem! Honey glazed salmon fillets? Slide effortlessly from the pan! Even pot sticker dumplings refused to glue themselves down! I found that it's even possible to fry eggs without oil and they simply don't stick! Amazing! The pan is a standard 28cm so the lid from our old frying pan fits perfectly. Sorry Tefal, no need to buy a branded lid!The central "Thermo-spot" seems like a bit of a pointless gimmick but doesn't detract from the function of the pan (it may work better on induction/electric hobs than it does on our gas hob). All things considered, this is a truly excellent product. I would definitely consider it well worth the usual price £35.Update - Jan 2022:After two years of regular use the non-stick surface is finally showing signs of wear, not to any extent that could be considered a problem, but definitely a slight degradation which I suspect will get worse with continued use.The bottom of the pan has also very slightly bowed in the middle, as mentioned in some other reviews, but again nothing that poses a problem (although I can't speak for how this may effect induction hob use).Despite these minor quibbles, I would happily purchase this product again, if I could find one at the original price of £35, as I have paid significantly more for supposedly non-stick pans that haven't endured even half as well!

The best frying pan I've ever bought!
To be quite honest I think TEFAL have made a huge mistake manufacturing this particular pan because, and believe me when I say this, ...........You Will Never Wear It Out!!!! and therefore will not need to purchase a new one!I've waited for nine months before writing this review, so I've given it plenty of time and plenty of use ... and it still looks like new. I once even left the ring on accidently underneath it and it was on for five or six hours and it cleaned off straight away. I've done everything in it, fry, braise, boil, you name it .. you can literally do anything with it.It's really light and nothing sticks. I've used it with oil and without oil .If ever I had to get a new frying pan, which I don't think I will live long enough to have to, I would definitely buy this one again. Absolutely perfect pan!

A decent frying pan
A well made, decent quality frying pan. Time will tell how well the coating will last (in my experience, despite following all the guidelines and hand washing only, they all fail eventually). The pan is relatively light and heats up quickly, though the trade off to this is that the base is relatively thin compared to more premium pans (e.g. Circulon), not having the same sandwich base constructive that holds heat better. Cleans well, as you'd expect, and it's possible to use in the oven. Quite expensive for what it is, compared to some other brands with similar claims or performance, but then you pay for the Tefal name and hopefully the confidence it brings. Overall, would recommend as an everyday pan, but not top-level cookware.

The best frying pan in the world
I use my frying pan every day, sometimes twice. It gets a hammering and I find that they lose their non-stick after time. I'm constantly replacing them. First the eggs stop running around the pan when tilted and then gunge starts to build up and stick on the surface whenever its used, until finally its so unusable that I have to buy a new one. One year max for this process. This frying pan is absolutely amazing. Although mine turned up with a dent and that seems to be a popular complaint, dont give up, just order another one, as this pan is just unbeatable. You can use metal tools in it, as they claim and mine is about 7 weeks old now and the eggs are still sliding when the pan is tilted, just like new. It wipes out with kitchen towel to clean. Not too heavy, but not light as a feather either. Heats up in standard time and when it gets to temperature, it can be turned right down to finish cooking, as it is a good retainer also. Top marks

One of the best I've used.
I bought the 24cm pan to use for omelettes and sauté, after realising my other sauté pan was just too large. The quality and robustness of this coating feels much more advanced, compared to my 12 year old Tefal wok and other 32cm pan. This particular pan makes the perfect omelettes every time, using only a small spray of oil (that's optional and not really needed). It's very lightweight and makes it easy to toss your food in (great for pancakes) . I just want to be clear about how you should use abd clean these pans - Never, and I mean never, clean these pans straight from the hob. Always allow them to cool first. Wipe the pan clean with a cloth, not a scourer. Personally, I use a cloth that's been soaked in warm water with a little mild detergent. It cleans the pan perfectly every time. Also, try not to use metal utensils on these pans. From experience, they will eventually scratch the coating. Always use silicone utensils. If you follow these simple rules then your pan will last for years, just like mine do.

Best frying pan... EVER
Professional quality for your home. Finally a decent non stick pan that works well on a induction hob.Near perfect heat distribution, however I accept that it probably would be perfect if I made sure it was dead centre to the induction zone.Makes my 8yo daughter a perfect omlette chefette with very little oil or butterI use silicone tools to ensure the longevity of the surface. As for cleaning.... WOW. I have always used a stainless frying pan which has, on occasion been a bit of a sod to clean.. especially if you tend to be a tad forgetfull! This is totally different. Let it cool, wipe round with a bit of kitchen towel or a microfiber cloth.... seriously that's it.I would not be without one, I have got one each for my mother and mother~in~law and they both love cooking and have the same opinion as above.Just get one, you won't regret it.

Very happy after so many mixed reviews on about 100 pans!
Was looking for a good frying pan. One that would last, wouldn't stick and one which wasn't raised the middle like most. Despite 10 responses to my question asking if this is raised in the middle, with mixed replies, I decided to take the risk.I can confirm it is NOT raised in the middle, has great non stick, is easy to clean and a good size and weight. I was prepared to spend over £100 on a decent pan but just couldn't find a single frying pan with consistent good reviews. I am really pleased with this and more than happy if I get a year or 3 out of it and have to replace.

Good quality look and feel.
The surface feels hard and looks smooth. It felt heavy at first but is well balanced easy to use. Our previous tefal non-stick had a pitted surface which eventually wore out faster with food sticking in the pits so I wanted a smoothe one this time. I would not comment on logevity for a few years at least!
