Yes, as long as the system is 12 volt, it fits as the license plate light pretty good.

What are the wires made of? Aluminum or copper?

The ones I got have like an 18 guage-ish stranded wire, with tinned exposed tips. I didn't cut the wire, but it feels soft and flexable like copper. The light produced is low, so I used all four to light the plate up. You might wish to use another product if daytime light is needed, but at night they are adequate to be legal. These were not optimal for my use, but I made it work. Would not buy this again, but the quality is very good.

Will these work on 24V vehicles? (Or is there a model that does?)

As a straight forward answer, the answer is no. The over voltage will, eventually, burn out the LED (light emitting diode). There are several transformers that will make this conversion. Also many 24V vehicles operate on 2 -12V batteries wired in series. If this is the case, just use one source to ground. Good luck.
