The black cross was just done with a black marker and easily scratched or wore off.

Lined in white on the inside. Very handsome. The little button opens it easily but be sure and press it closed well until you feel it click, then you know it is truly closed. Used twice so far to bring the Eucharist to vulnerable family members who are not attending Mass yet.I recommend the little leather zipper holder for added protection while transporting. NOTE: As far as possible, go directly to deliver the Eucharist. Do not carry Our Lord around casually, or gasp, go shopping with Him in your pocket! St. Tarcissus, pray for us!
