Fits 2008 Nissan Altima 2.5
This is my first experience with a Goodyear belt.Just installed this belt on a 2008 Nissan Altima 2.5 S. I was concerned about whether or not it was the right belt for the car because the "fitment" system on amazon showed several belts from Goodyear that fit. There are comments and posts out there about getting the wrong belt shipped. I was relieved to find that it is the right belt. It feels like a well made product.Took the old belt off and installed the new Goodyear belt. With the way the belt is packaged in the box, it almost creases the belt. That made installing the new belt quite a bit more labor intensive. The extreme bends took up some of the slack in the belt while trying to use one hand to turn the tensioner pulley clockwise (14mm box-end wrench) and put the belt on it with another hand.I've only driven it a few miles since changing the belt, and I really didn't notice any changes in noise or performance. ...Yet.The ribs of the belt are serrated (staggered-cog), which I'd think would allow the belt to dissipate heat faster than a solid ribbed belt would. The OEM belt it replaced has 145,000 miles on it and still has usable life in it. I wrapped it up and stashed it in the spare tire well as an emergency belt.If you're looking for a replacement belt for a 2008 Altima with the 2.5 4 cylinder engine, the Goodyear 4060878 Gatorback Poly-V belt fits.

So Far, Great - 2012 Jeep JKU Rubicon
I just installed this Continental belt on my 2012 Jeep Wrangler (3.6L Pentastar V6). The alternator is a pain to remove and the tensioner requires a good breaker bar to move (go slowly), but the belt went on fine. I cranked up the Jeep and the old squeaking was gone. Time will tell if it is as good as I hope, but so far I'm pleased.

Best belt on the market
Super product. I originally had an older continental Elite belt on the car and decided to replace it while replacing an alternator that failed. I installed a new belt purchased from parts store. The new belt had a continuous v. It ran fine but would jump off at times when starting the car. I grew tired of having to reinstall it at the most inopportune time. I had to dig in the garbage to get the old Continental belt and went ahead and reinstalled it back in the car. It ran fine without falling off at all. I soon realized that the belt tensioner was weak which allowed the new belt to bounce off. I ordered the new Continental belt and a tensioner and installed. Everything is working great. The old belt was better than one of the newer type smooth belts and even worked fine with a faulty tensioner. I am sold on the Continental design and quality.

Be aware Jeep owners!
This belt is for a JK model even though it says 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 3.6 JL. It won't fit so hope this saves you a headache.

Seems like a good replacement
Well, I just put it on today but so far it seems to be working well. It seems quieter than the OEM one that I replaced due to some squealing. I will tell you that I don't give Fiat-Chrysler any stars for the effort required to install this belt on my Jeep. I hope that it holds up. Time will tell. If it fails, I'll try to remember to come back to the reviews and complain but I'm gonna' stay optimistic right now.

Fits nicely on our 2007 Altima 2.5S
We made it to 85k on the original belt in our '07 Altima 2.5S. Same old story... dealer wanted way too much money for a simple job, so I ordered this. Took me about an hour (since it was my first time doing it). Next time it should take about 10-15 minutes. Very easy to do once you understand how to lock the tensioner back and get the belt back on the tensioner (as the last step). A+I took it for a 10 mile test drive after... seemed just as quiet as the original.

Amazing! I had been trying for 2 years to ...
Amazing! I had been trying for 2 years to cure the belt squeak on both of the mx 6.2 engines in my boat to no avail. I changed belts, pulleys and water pump. Apparently the Mercruiser belts are extremely sensitive to pulley misalignment. I installed these gator back belts and viola! Finally my squeak is gone! And they cost about half as much. Extremely happy customer here.
