Tuff Support 2 Pieces (Set) Rear Liftgate Hatch Door Lift Supports 2010 to 2017 Volvo Xc60 Without Power Liftgate

Easy to install, work great so far. Someone complained about the little clips that keep it in place, but really not that difficult to put them in place if you uses a light to see the tiny install hole. Cost a lot less than oem and quality seems great.

Very strong support once installed. However, instructions on package do not show how to secure the clips to secure the supports. Have to figure it out yourself. Frustrating.

This liftgate hatch door lift support lasted just a few weeks when it broke, causing the rear hatch to fall on my head. I was just about knocked out! When I tried to return it to Amazon, they told me that "the window for returns" was past!! How can that be when the product is clearly DEFECTIVE.What good is a company if they cannot stand behind the products they sell??This product is garbage. Hopefully no one else had this happen to them....this is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

This item was a perfect fit for my Volvo. The only thing that I did not like the fastening mechanism. These struts usually have a clip mechanism. So, to install you just need to press on the clip. Now, these struts have a needle type with a slide lock. It was very hard to find the hole to pin the pin in. Also, these have a lot of power, a bit too much. Now when I open the trunk and pull it goes up with a thud. Hopefully it will last. I would buy it again for sure.

Installed very easily and work even better than expected. I replaced my original lift struts and couldn’t be more pleased with how nicely these hold the lift gate up even in temperatures below 0 Fahrenheit.

They are well made, but unfortunately they did not fit our car. I returned them.

Works great! Easy to replace and economical. No more broom handle prop.
