InfusiumPro23 Leave in Treatment Conditioner, Original, 16 Fl Oz

Note: My hair texture is 3c/4a, low porosity, thin strands (but a lot of them), and is bra-strap length. As a child, my mother used Infusium 23 on my hair every week before blow-drying it straight. While I've since switched to a no-heat and naturally curly routine for my hair, I've also begun the process of growing my hair as long as possible. And I've always remembered that my hair experienced little to no breakage when I was a child, even with the heating element, so I decided to try Infusium again to see how it worked on my natural hair. I've been using it for almost a month, and I can say that it does provide an additional layer of protection against physical damage - such as combing, or the friction caused by my ends rubbing against the clothing on my shoulders/back. It also provides a substantial amount of "slip" when I'm finger-detangling my hair during the week (between wash days). My typical application of the liquid is either via a spray bottle or a foaming bottle. While it's not heavy enough for me to use as my sole leave-in, it's a great product to refresh my curls. This product does contain two water-soluble silicones, which I tend to avoid in general, but I haven't experienced any build-up or dryness from them. I do, however, clarify my hair once a month, and wash with a sulfate-free shampoo once a week - so I haven't tried this product while on a strictly no-poo routine. The liquid also imparts a subtle yet natural shine, which I appreciate as my hair can often appear to have a matte appearance. Overall, this is a solid addition to my daily haircare routine. It's not a showstopper product with bells and whistles, but given that it's seemingly providing the same level of quality results for me as it did more than 30 years ago? It's a product that definitely stands the test of time.

Who doesn't like a good leave in conditioner? I'm loaded with knots in my hair. This, along with coconut conditioner, smooths them all out and doesn't leave my hair looking greasy. I used this when I was a kid, stopped for many years, and am back to using it again. Great product if you need a leave in conditioner.

I'm glad to see this back and available. I used Infusium years ago, and again now. Light, no residue feel on hair, makes hair soft and managable. I put mine in a Small spray btl and use a few sprays before I dry my hair. ** I do not use any conditioner after my shampoo. Only the Infusium.

Probably for 20+ years. I love how it enhances my curls and at the same time prevents breakage. I bought it again back in 2018. Now I bought this one. Along the years we understand items go through ingredient changes. But this one I believe went through major ingredient changes b/c unlike the years before, I got an allergic reaction. It helped my hair but not so much my scalp and skin. Disappointing.

I used Infusium in the 80's, and really assumed that they stopped making it, as I have not seen it in the stores for quite some time. I have very damaged naturally curly hair, and have tried a million products for repair. Somehow, this came across my Amazon page, and of course I had to give it a try. This product is a miracle worker. Exactly the same as it was years ago. It added shine and manageability to my crazy hair. I will continue to buy their products, for sure. The shampoo and conditioner is top notch too. Definitely a lot less expensive than most products. But totally worth it! Give it a try, I bet you will love it too!

Been using over 20 years ...EXCELLENT leave-in conditioner ‼️ It's smell good also n will have hair smelling good too. Can be used for your wet setting lotion too. Overall keeps hair healthy , manageable, et.

I used to use this for years and forgot about it. I purchased it now, and it did not work well for my hair. I am Disappointed. It smells great, leaves hair soft, moisturizes and detangles well, but it appears different.

Again amazing price fabulous results.

This is a miracle product that I have been using for more years than I can remember! I cannot find it in stores anymore and was so delighted that Amazon is providing it. Nothing compares to this product in providing restorative hair care - not any of the most expensve super designer products that I unfortunately had to try when I couldn't find Infusium on regular retail shelves anmore. Then I tried Amazon and voila there it was for sale - why didn't I try the site earlier! Very grateful to Amazon for sponsoring such good products and keeping me Infusium happy!

I have bought this product now 3 times and it always arrives in a timely fashion and is exactly what I ordered. I have used this product for 30 plus years but it was discontinued in the stores. I have never found a product a great as this so was delighted when I found it on Amazon. I was hesitant at first but ordered and it is the exact same product I use to buy. I pour mine into my old spray bottle and spray only what I need on my hair and the bottle goes farther. It doesn't really have much of a scent at all and once on your hair I would say you don't smell it all. I have sensitive skin and it has never bothered it. Much better then rinse out conditioner as it doesn't leave your hair heavy. Will definitely keep buying it from here!
