Can you use it to clean a deep fryer safely

I have used it on aluminum and stainless steel. It worked well and didn't damage them. if the gunk is very thick it may take two times to get it all. Hope this helps.

Could this be used to clean the burnt sugars out of a cotton candy maker?

I slather it on stainless and copper (Revere Ware). It does great if the deposits have burnt until it is black. Put it on really thick! If the deposit is not completely hard and black (still dark amber), not so well.

Is carbon off safe to use on aluminium ?
