Great Figure, Great In-Game
I got this mostly for the Epona feature in Breath of the Wild, but the figure itself is also much better quality than I expected. (Then again, coming from my background with the often lesser-quality toys sold in China, my expectations may have been tailored to be a bit low.) Though I don't have any experience with collectibles, it seems like something my friends would buy just to look at; the paint is much more detailed and precise than I'd have expected. For BotW, I'll warn you now so you don't make the same mistake we did: make sure you're around a stable when you scan the amiibo for the first time so that you can register Epona right away. You only have 100% chance of receiving Epona the first time you scan it; the other times you'll mostly receive a chest full of other goodies, though you do have a smaller chance of receiving Epona if you missed her the first time. Save yourself the trouble and register the first time so that you don't have to worry about losing her and playing the game of chance (or load-spamming). What my brother did was scan Epona with just a little bit of time to play the game, get to enjoy her for several minutes, log out to log back in a few hours later to find her gone and unable to be scanned again for another day. The next day of course he got a chest instead of the expected horse (though he did get the Cap of the Twilight, which is pretty sweet), so now he'll have to wait until the amiibo gives the legendary horse back, the chances of which seem to be pretty low after the first scan.In any case, Epona is a nice, fast horse with a gentle temperament. While other horses may have one more stamina than her, therefore not making her 'the best horse,' I've heard her dashes last longer than other horses, which kind of makes up for that. She's also just a nice pony to deal with after you've tried to handle some of the other wilder horses. The only other drawbacks are that you can't change her name (though I don't see why you'd want to); neither can you customize her armor and bridle, though you wouldn't have much of a reason to unless you had the Ancient gear that boosts stats. All in all, while the price certainly isn't cheap, Epona is still great to have around, and the figure is also pretty sick.

Exactly as ordered - have already had fun with it.
Arrived in near-pristine condition (tiny scratch on the card stock back of packaging, but that may have been from the box cutter I had to use to get into the shipping box), a little late, but that was likely because of the excess of holiday orders across the country. Colors were just as vibrant as the pictures used for the web page, and works exactly as advertised. Price was pretty reasonable, given that these can be used over and over again (just not in a single irl day).Just remember to register Epona before anything can happen to it, and be sure your character isn’t standing too close to the later item drop points (Isaac Newton’s apple has nothing on a falling loot chest 😅).

Works!
I love it! I literally got Epona within seconds of opening up the package to get Link out. (I use a switch lite) and needed Epona for Breath of the wild. I’m a little bummed I cannot change Eponas gear to the ancient set so I can summon her from anywhere ... nor does she come when you whistle if your to far away. Sooooo in reality a normal horse with good stats who can warp to you might be more useful for in game. However it’s Epona ... and I am fine going stable to stable like I have been before I got the ancient set. It did not feel like a Zelda game without her! If you are a huge Zelda fan, you must buy this to get the legendary horse we all love.As for the little figure. He’s good. Worked great, no damage. Great crafting. 5 stars all the way :D even arrived on time!

Bought it for Epona
I know Breath of the Wild was released over 5 years ago but I STILL love that game. When I started playing it 5 years ago, I was able to use a friend's amiibo collection to acquire items in game, including the legendary horse Epona. Years later, I've lost contact with that friend and my husband has been playing but unfortunately he lacks amiibos. I started collecting the BoTW specific ones but realized that none of them granted the horse. After some research I learned that she could only be acquired from two specific amiibo, with this being one of them. I love this thing. Hubby was able to get the horse of legend and now I have a new Link to add to my collection. I'm excited to see what drops it may give in Tears of the Kingdom.
