amika Supernova moisture and shine cream,3.38 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)

I have purchased many hair products that end up still half-full when I finally toss them and plenty that I use up because they're "okay," but do not re-purchase. I have been so pleased with the Amika Supernova Violet Moisture and Shine Cream that when I had almost finished the first tube I purchased the product again. My hair is short, wavy, thick and color-treated. It tends to be dry. I find that the Supernova Cream is wonderfully moisturizing for my hair without weighing it down, at all. The cream is so pleasant to use, good texture (definitely creamy, not oily) and the scent is really nice. Delicate, and not a "cheap" smell. I use my fingers to run the product throughout my hair, with a focus on the ends. It makes an excellent heat protectant and truly does leave a glossy shine. The only thing the product definitely does not do is tone blonde. The pigment is a very pale lavender, not nearly dense enough to tone blonde. So if you're looking to tone your hair, don't rely on Supernova for that. Everything else? Excellent!

Tames my gray fly away hair and helps to keep it looking and feeling soft.

I thought it was too expensive at first but I had a cheaper product that didn't work in my bathroom. My blond hair is turning a dark, dull color as it turns gray. I needed a product that would make my natural highlights shine (what I have left of them). This product did what I hoped it would do. It brought out my blond strands, and brought shine, and vibrancy back to my hair. A little goes a long way. I feel I look more like my old self again. I'm happy. I use a small amount after washing and conditioning in the shower while my hair is still damp. The package was in good condition. Arrived on time. Smelled good.

This is a lilac tinted grooming balm. I've used it a few times and haven't seen that it makes my hair look more ashy (which I believe is the intent since its lilac/purple). But, it does make my hair easier to style and smoother. When I blow dry with a styling brush, my hair will hold the curl/shape longer. If you use too much (I have long, color and bleach treated hair on the thicker and coarser side and a quarter sized amount is too much) it will weigh your style down a bit. It smells really good and gives some shine, but not sure I would purchase again.

Does not require a lot of product and it makes my hair feel nicely moisturized and light. No buildup of any kind and the subtle scent is also pleasant.

Let me start by saying I love this product and it works perfectly as a finish product to take a way the fly away hairs and always leaves my hair feeling super soft. I was disappointed paying, so much, but I really needed it and everyone else was out because the company is discounting the purple kind. The reason for low star review is that it took 47 days to reach me. When I ordered it, I was told one week, and then it kept moving out for a total of 47 days.

This product is amazing! I would highly recommend. I have fine hair and it does not weigh it down but had shine and my hair has volume. The smell is amazing!
