I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box of these glass doorknobs. They are heavy and they look great in my house, since my decor is mid-century. I got lots of compliments just from showing the pictures, but they look even better in person.One of the doorknobs was defective, but Amazon did an exchange, so I received the new knob a few days later. They were expensive, but well worth it for the look alone & then seeing they are well made.

No photo can convey how beautiful these door knobs are. They are simply stunning. As an added bonus when the morning sun is shinning through my bedroom window it creates a prism all over the floors and walls. I had them installed in every room upstairs. One problem I did have was that the description says it has an adjustable backseat. When I tried to do this super simple install the backset did not fit even though it matched what I was taking out. I had to get a contractor to install them and there was a LOT of noise up there trying to drill the door so they would fit. Also, I read where a couple people said their door knob came damaged or broke soon after installing it. The only thing I can say about that is if you received a defective door knob then return it. The quality of these knobs is excellent. I don’t anticipate any problems but if I run into any I will update my review.

I've been slowly ridding my home of the evil colonial brass. When it comes to doors it get frightfully expensive, especially when it comes to crystal or glass knobs! Add brushed nickel to the wish list & get ready for sticker shock! After months of looking & trying to let it go, the coronaprision had me bored & aggravated enough to go for it!Pros: They were here sooner than the original delivery date. They were packaged perfectly snug & safe. They look & work beautifully!Cons: There are some tiny imperfections if you look closely but given the price point it's worth it. They are not as easy to install as most knobs because there is some assembly involved. I believe it has to do with protecting the glass & it's not hard. Only true negative is the directions don't exactly match the product well. It appears they made changes in the packaging/ pre-assembly & never adjusted their directions accordingly. Wasn't too difficult to figure out, though as I'm a little more experienced than most. If not able to figure out medium to average difficulty levels in DIY projects, get help.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my crystal door knobs. . I ADDED THEM TO THE 12 INTERIOR DOORS OF MY HOME. I have childhood memories of my family homes. I took a chance that I could find them and amazon came through for me. Reasonably priced for the average homeowner I am so pleased with them. My son installed them and he did not seem to have any difficulty. Old house, and a few of the door openings needed to be enlarged but it was a simple fix. And when the sun shinedstrough a window and catch the glass knobs it is a bountiful rainbow of sparkling colors. Probably not for modernists but anyone wishing to recapture the beauty of retro will like them.

Do not buy this product. It is 100% defective. The product looks great then the door knobs fall off. I had to fix them in order to have doorknobs. The original doorknobs were discarded as i never expected the knobs to fall off these. The knobs are plastic and not glass. The product is attractive and appears well made but it is not. Amazon offered a few dollars towards future purchases. Amazon suggested calling the manufacturer. The manufacturer claims Amazon has responsibility. What a joke. Wasted time, money and effort. Customer screwed again. The quality of products I purchase through Amazon has been declining along with customer service.

These door knobs MAKE ME HAPPY! If it's possible for door knobs to bring joy to a life then these have done it!! LOL!! They remind me growing up in my Aunt Mary's farmhouse, the BEST place on Earth as far as I'm concerned!! The pic doesn't do it justice! Installation was SUPER EASY, my husband was out of town and I was done painting our new doors so, I got to work installing the knobs. The directions are simple and easy to understand and 10 minutes late...VIOLA!!! GORGEOUS CRYSTAL KNOBS installed and working perfectly....whish I could give them a 10!!

I purchased this door knob for my office door and I must say it is beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice. It comes with everything you'll need to install this door knob. I gave it a 4-star rating for two reasons. One, it wasn't difficult to install but it was slightly bigger than the hole for the previous door knob which was a standard size. Two, the door knob locks but the "emergency" release button is larger than I was expecting. The typical door handle once locked, can be unlocked by inserting a small pin key with a flat tip in the tiny hole in the door knob. This door knob can be locked but the hole to unlock it is larger and of course not in the crystal knob but in the plate. It is really more of a recessed small button that can be unlocked by inserting a thin pointy object such as the tip of a pen in the hole to release the lock. Therefore it can be unlocked with anything pointy and it is quite obvious that this is the release to unlock the door. All that to say, I just wish the unlock was more inconspicuous. That's not really a big deal as I don't lock this door often but occasionally, if I'm leaving for vacation, I like to lock the door. I really like this door knob and I think it's a beautiful addition to my room. I hope it lasts.

I dislike the way its put together the glue don't whole it together . Beautiful design love it not holding up like it should.
