Great headset, broken after a year.

I loved the mute feature, the headset has easy-access volume control and it was very comfortable.However, its been a year of use, and the mic has just fully died, all my friends can hear is static, and the headset is constantly outputting a high-pitched buzzing sound.

Volume slider

I love the hyper x headset for the price quality and sound.I just had my delivered today and it was well package.To be honest i'm not totally satisfied because my concern I have is my volume slider on the headset its very lose so when I move the volume slider up or down and I'm getting a little distortion when i do this. not sure if it will get any better or if it would break.so not sure to return the Item or not.
