Q: How do I open the band on the watch

The band has a place on it that you can slip your fingernail under and pull up. This then will release the lock and you can then pull the rest of the band up to expand it to slip your hand in and out of it. I hope this is helpful

Q: Is the watch band adjustable?

Yes. There are several small holes and a small pin that you need to push in on both sides. This holds the band to the locking mechanism. When you free the pin you can then move the band and the pin into any other hole.

Q: how do you adjust the watch band?

just like any other watch bands, you can get a watch link removal tool from Amazon for a few dollars. And if you have no knowledge how to do it, I recommend you to "You Tube" it.

Q: If this watch is only "splash resistant" (3 atm water resistance) and not meant for underwater use, why is there an annoying rotating bezel?

Very good questions and I have no idea. I bought the watch for my proud veteran husband who loves it but is a bit annoyed by the turning bezel too.
