The dramatic conclusion to the inspirational family saga that has captivated millions of readers around the world! A New York Times , USA Today , and Publisher's Weekly bestseller from the author of Redeeming Love. In the dramatic conclusion to the Marta's Legacy series, the beloved author of The Lady's Mine and The Masterpiece delivers a rich and deeply moving story about the silent sorrows that can tear a family apart and the grace and forgiveness that can heal even the deepest wounds. Marta's granddaughter, Carolyn, comes of age during the turbulent sixties, struggling to navigate a tense family life. Though college offers a taste of freedom, tragedy shatters her confidence and she disappears into the heady counterculture of San Francisco. When she reemerges, more lost than ever, she reluctantly turns to her family to help her rebuild a life for herself and her own daughter, May Flower Dawn. But familiar tensions emerge when Dawn develops a closer bond with her grandmother than her own mother. As she seeks to avoid the mistakes of those who went before her, Dawn determines to become a bridge between the women in her family. Her Daughter's Dream is the emotional final chapter of an unforgettable duology about the sacrifices mothers make for their daughters and the very nature of unconditional love. Perfect for fans of Christian historical fiction that doesn't shy away from the complexity and nuance of life Gripping and emotional with themes of faith, forgiveness, and overcoming generational misunderstandings Book 2 in the Marta's Legacy series "Rivers has written another page-turner. . . . This heartfelt and sweeping saga is as ambitious as its central matriarch." โ Publishers Weekly "Engrossing and stunning. . . . The prose is elegant and life changing. . . . This sweeping family saga will touch both the heart and soul." โ Romantic Times Review: Heartwarming...truth! - I just finished this book and I have to say it was very moving, heartwarming and a reflection of the life I actually lived. I remember the sixties( grew up in san francisco) , which were not good to me.:( much of this book was not fiction to me, but real lived life. My parents loved me unconditionally and I did not tell them enough how much I loved them...my daughter and I today have lived through hell and back today seeking the Lord and all He has for us and the gift of life He gave each of us...a true connection that cannot be broken...thank you for this book, Francine:) Review: A lovely story about faith, hope, and love - After reading Her Mother's Hope, Her Daughter's Dream really brought the story together beautifully. Francine Rivers weaves such rich stories with vibrant characters in gorgeous settings. I love the historical events interwoven seamlessly through all of Rivers' writings. If you haven't dived into Marta's Legacy series, please do. But begin with book one. You'll enjoy this story that spans four generations.

Her daughterโs dream
My name is Hannah and I am 12 years old. The first Francine Rivers book I read was a lineage of grace and I loved it. Then I read the first one and it was great. Thought Francine's book always include some love things and physical descriptions there is one in this book that was a little too much for me. I was reading before bed and it made me cry so much I went to look for my mom. Itโs a great book for mothers and daughters to read together or by yourself too but I think itโs not great for younger girls. If your child already knows about some things and is experiencing some changes it will be more likely she understands though I still think some things the parents should read with them and explain. Apart from that I loved the saga it was great to see everything come together and I truly recommend this book for teenage girls and women. I love that River's books are christian and love fiction. Itโs really catching and at least I donโt know any other books that I can read about love in a Christian, healthy way. That combination is amazing. This book talk about things that really happen and the things that young women really go through, the sins and temptations it doesnโt lie about the world and how horrible it is. Itโs really awakening and I totally recommend it to you. Sorry if this was to long, I hope you enjoy this book.

Story of Love and Redemption
Francine Rivers never disappoints. This book exposes the joys, difficulties, and messiness that occurs in families and it can go on for generations. But God is our source and He heals, reveals and restores. This story magnifies this great truth!

A daughter with my own daughters
I was blessed by this two book series. I have enjoyed Francine's writings for many years and have turned on many other women friends onto her writings. (My most recent convert to being an avid Francine Rivers fan was added last week:)). I loved this book because as a daughter and grand daughter with my own daughters and granddaughter, this series revealed a lot to me about how the things we do effect each other, but that sometimes we misinterpret their meaning. And I wonder if we could look through each there's eyes and walk through each other's hurts for just a little bit, if we wouldn't have a lot more grace for one another. The other thing the book taught me was that it's never to late to build a relationship. Francine has a beautiful way of weaving God's truths into her writing and in that way helping us readers to embrace those truths as well. This series was another diamond in the box of jewels of Francine Rivers books and would especially encourage moms with daughters to read this book and enjoy the journey into understanding that mom-daughter relationship even more.

Never let go of Faith. our Heavenly Father is always in control, trust.
A story of how too often humans take matters into their own hands. When we finally fall to the bottom of ourselves we reach out and God saves us.

A Great Book
Loved it Easy to read and easy to relate to. But to understand the complete story you really need to read book 1 Marta's Daughter, otherwise book 2 will not make a lot of sense about why and how it all began .If you are a back slider Christian Francine Rivers books has a wonderful way of turning your life back to Jesus .Her books all have a lesson which we can learn from .So glad that I was leant the first book and have read nearly all her books and never felt disappointed.

Stunning
Utterly gorgeous and heart wrenching story. An ode to motherhood through the generations. As all of Francine's novels, it feels like this has made a permanent mark in my life and has shown me the love of God in a new way. Thank God for motherhood, thank God for his mercy when we get it wrong. I will now be passing this on to my mother for her to read!
