Smells nice but a hint of a soapy smell. Would not buy again at 15 bucks.

I like this aftershave, it definitely smooths the skin. I tried it because I really like the fragrance of their (Men's Shaving Co.) Bay Rum shaving soap. When I first put it on, I was not initially pleased with the fragrance, but after a couple of minutes, it mellows back to the nice Bay Rum fragrance and leaves your skin nicely smoothed and soothed. It's been a long time since I've used ANY aftershave, so I'm still slightly on the fence, but not because of anything I don't like about the product. The missing star is more on me than them. That said, I am not on the fence at all about their shaving soaps. They're absolutely wonderful!

Love Bay Rum after shaves and colognes. However found that when I do a wet shave I tend to razor burn, so I looked for a Bay Rum after shave balm and this fits the bill perfectly. Very soothing, helps avoid razor burn, and has that great Bay Rum scent. The 4 ounce bottle was a bit smaller than I expected (but then that is my problem) and I don’t really need to use much to cover my face. Great product and prompt delivery. Overall pleased and no negatives or complaints.

It’s a good aftershave balm. It feels soothing after a close shave. My only comment is that the sent is not super strong. It may just be that I was previously using Bay Rum after shave that was alcohol based so my nose may be off a bit. Over all i would recommend this product

Perhaps, when I bought this, I didn't understand that this is actually a skin lotion, opaque white and a little gooey like any hand lotion but also more runny than standard hand lotions. And the scent has little or nothing to do with bay rum. The scent is more akin to hand sanitizer from wall-mounted dispensers in the intensive care units of your better hospitals. I've been using various bay rum aftershaves for several years now, and I know what the range of bay rum scents is. This doesn't fall anywhere in that range.In fairness, I don't use skin-care products, and I don't moisturize, so maybe this lotion is just a type of product I am unfamiliar with. And so, I can't say how this will work for you or your skin. I was just very disappointed that it doesn't smell anything like bay rum aftershave.

This aftershave balm is the best I've used in decades. It soothes as good as the more expensive brands, but has a great Bay Rum sent that I find more manly than the balm I had been using before. And of course an added benefit is that they are all natural. Found this product after purchasing their shaving soap puck (also a great product) and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did.Glenn

I'm fairly new to using the different types of aftershaves, and to be honest, I really don't know what a Bay Rum scent is supposed to smell like, let alone a "good" Bay Rum scent.But I DO know that I like this. I really like the idea of all natural organic ingredients in things that go on your skin.This is a quality product, has a pleasant scent, and does a great job on the face.
