Asian movie cheaply dubbed into English
This is the Asian movie cheaply dubbed into English. However the write up on Amazon says nothing of this and this is blatantly a cheap trick to sell a product. There are way too many stupid looking costumes and poorly executed special effects. I think a group of 10-year-old kids could’ve made a movie better than this

Jump like Batman.
A film producer in the corrupt Indonesian city of Batavia wants to make a film about Valentine, an avenger. While in a coffee shop he notices a waitress kick butt and hires her for the job. She is well versed in martial arts (Silat). At the same time, a masked man "The Shadow" has taken over the city at first as a vigilante and later as a criminal. Since the filmmaker doesn't have a backer, he decides to film the avenger fight real crime in hopes of getting a financial backer. Our waitress fights common criminals, eventually getting a purple costume and building perch reminiscent of The Phantom. She has no superpowers and is unconvincingly overpowering multiple skilled fighters. It appears some of the production is in English and at other times dubbed. Sets up for a series. I liked the bad girl eye make-up. Again we have women that can take more punches to the face than Joe Lewis. Oh yeah, there's a twist.Guide: No swearing, sex, or nudity.

Keep your expectations low...
I had never even heard about this movie until I saw a random trailer on YouTube. I thought it looked interesting and took a chance renting it on Amazon. I had no clue that it was horribly dubbed in English. Even the parts that were obviously originally in English are still dubbed. The plot is ridiculous and predictable and the acting is pretty bad. I enjoyed the Raid Redemption even though the production value and acting was really bad because the fight scenes were so awesome. The Raid 2 is spectacular. If you like Street Fighter the Chun-Li story you might like this movie. From the first fight scene you could tell they were going to use an editing technique to slow things down. It's not the worst I have ever seen but it was pretty disappointing. Could have had a lot of potential but most of the time I was just wishing it would get over.

VOICE-OVERED - NOT OBVIOUS IN TRAILER
Might be decent in the original language IF I understood it. Couldn't get 5 minutes into it without frustration. The acting MIGHT be good. The VOICE-OVER sucks.Where's the refund button?!

Well done. Girl power is getting stronger.
Excellent movie with well spoken but out of sync English overdubs. The female actors are very good, plus they can really fight. We might miss the dramatic emotional segueway that can be found in more expensive movies, but what is missing in garbage emotional patronizing, is made up for with a pretty good script, and a well edited screenplay.

Imagine Kick-Ass, but as a reality TV show
I'll start with the positives. It's made with virtually no budget so don't expect a billion dollars worth of SFX more than storytelling. The dubbing is... distracting. One character is masked. That's about the best dubbing in the film. You watch the mouths move and the words just don't match, it's like a 1980s martial arts movie. The fight scenes - necessary because the lead character has no powers are committed, it's rare, unlike Birds of Prey to have 200lb stuntmen being bested by a woman half their weight. The plot and sense in the film are mostly absent. There are motives, but it's irrelevant. Watch it if you have 97 minutes with nothing better to do.

Valentine's Dark Day
The young Valentine has potential as a martial arts hero. However, someone needs to explain the use of a SWAT team. They are highly trained and heavily armed. They enter the bank with robbers holding hostages. The robbers walk towards the members of the SWAT team and they do not fire a single shot. Instead, they use their guns as a baton. Perhaps they should have had a team of cheerleaders to fight the robbers. They watch the robbers as they use their martial arts and throw a knife to kill one, retrieve the knife and kill another, retrieve the knife again to kill another. They should have supplied chairs and popcorn to the SWAT team since it looks more like they were also watching the movie. The SWAT team at the bank are all killed. Yet, in other scenes there are more SWAT team members trying to fight crime with the police. The police also have guns...but there were only two gunshots at the end of the film and one that we hear during a past event in a type of dream. The movie ends with a look out for next time ending scene. The hero Valentine may have been more effective in a period without guns in the past or future. In the US, the hero would have been killed in her first encounter with armed robbers. Maybe she should help young children in elementary school from being bullied, or look for a child lost in the woods. Basically, there should be no weapons used in the film unless she encounters a person who can create special weapons...weapons like in the James Bond movies or the Men In Black 1 & 2 movies. Bottom-line, save your money and spend it on anything else.

Cover makes it look interesting
Just the cover nothing else ,story doesn't make sense, actors well , okay in some fighting scenes but not for long, villain coming out of nowhere , to some extent it's boring,my grandson likes to look at new or never heard or seen superhero but was disappointed ,some may like it ,but not worth buying it,don't think it's a ''B'' movie it's more all the letters after the ''B''

Worth a look!
Fight actions were shot a bit amateurly but the Karate looked realistic :). Fun and enjoyable if you do not take it to seriously. Tried to copy USA style plot (marvel) so a bit B grade :)
