I have seen quality changes, which all seem to be due to manufacture location. When first purchased, they were made in China, packed in China. This then altered to packed in Vietnam, and other variations. We are now back in Jan 2026, to made in China, packed in Vietnam. However, when you factor in how long the stock has sat on a shelf somewhere, it is hard know what to expect with delivery. There is also another issue that this gives rise to. I have noticed ultra camera problems, that after extensive swopping shows the faults all relate to camera battery voltage, even with charger attached. Some batteries report 100% charged but when triggered to record, drop output, showing as a camera fault. So, when you buy these batteries, you simply do not know the quality of the item, as there are too many issues to consider, which may only show up after 12 months. There is also another potential issue, which can show as faulty battery. If you or close neighbour introduce internet hub amplifiers around the property, they may bleed over a camera signal, showing up as a green screen, and sending you off to buy another battery maybe. Oh yes, I have also recently found a battery out of box brand new, lasted 12 hours before failure of output.
