Too Many Words for Fish (Among Others)
While I like the layout of the book, there are a couple of things I'm concerned about:1. Naskh font is used over Nastaliq.2. After I asked why there are so many choices for many simple nouns (in this instance, I was curious as to why there are 4-5 words listed for "fish" and wanted to know how I should select the correct word), a native speaker took a look at the dictionary portion and told me that in addition to Urdu words, Punjabi and Arabic words are listed. How can I, as a beginner, identity the most appropriate word? Unfortunately, now I'm very hesitant to try to use the dictionary portion of this book, which makes up the vast majority of its content. Also, one of the first pages repeats the same paragraphs over and over. Whoops!

Found the right lesson book!
Some Urdu books only have enough lesson material for tourists, basic translation Urdu - English. This teaches a rather complicated language step by step, enabling you to learn all you should to know the language, not skim over it.It's best to not skip around, to read the book from beginning to end. No cherry picking , actually take the time.
