Not only a daylight lamp but looks like an art piece! I have it sitting on a bamboo standing desk and the lamp matches perfectly and looks stunning, works great and remote is easy to use. It doesn't have that plastic/medical look like other daylight lamps do and is a good size.

I wanted this lamp for the longest time, but didn't want to drop so much money on it. Finally couldn't take my dark living room anymore, and couldn't find one I liked better, so bit the bullet and bought it.Well, I LOVE IT. It's delightfully bright at max brightness, but because of the shape of it, the light is diffuse and not *painfully* bright.I love the settings and being able to adjust the light throughout the day to adjust for conditions outside. I believe it has had a beneficial impact on my family's circadian rhythms and ability to sleep at night.My cat absolutely loves it, and curls up next to it daily, and that makes me feel even more convinced it's providing something good and healthy that my other lighting is not, since this is the only light she's drawn to. It's not like it's warm and that's what's appealing to her. It gives off no heat whatsoever.Like some others, I received the wrong remote, one which has lots of buttons that do absolutely nothing, *but* the on/off button and the buttons to cycle through the color settings and to raise or lower the brightness work fine, so whatever.This lamp is definitely overpriced, but the lamp itself I absolutely love and do recommend.

Really nice brightness and quality. I like to use in the morning when I first wake up to get my day started while I have my coffee and breakfast. Especially on dreary days, really happy I ordered it.

Even with blackout curtains and no other lighting this room is bright! I have to wake up at 2am for work and my sleep doctor and several friends recommended a sun lamp. I was just thinking I’d get a little cheap one but knew I would never use it if I had to take it in and out of a cabinet, etc. THIS ONE can stay on my kitchen table where I eat breakfast in the morning and not only look pretty but also make me happy looking at it! So easy to put together, very large, and the remote is a great addition so I don’t have to reach over to turn it on and off. This is the best sun lamp I’ve seen!

It's a good lamp

On gray/cloudy days I use this light in the morning while drinking coffee. Its my understanding that people with seasonal affective disorder should use a light like this as soon as possible after waking up. For me, 30 minutes of exposure is generally perfect. I can feel my mood lifting almost immediately. I place the lamp about an arms length from me slightly off to the side and just chill out and sip my coffee. It really helps keep me motivated for the rest of the day. For this I am grateful. Be well.Pros: Remote allows for wide range of customization. Light is extremely attractive and organic. Very light weight and easily moved around the house. Well constructed and finished. Worth the price. I highly recommend this light. The volume of light produced is fabulous. Its not intense like a spotlight but rather soft, bright and space filling. Its like brain candy. ;} Seriously!Cons: None noted. But be aware, it's about the size of a dinner plate in diameter and perhaps five inches thick and it has a biggish footprint. Perhaps keep that in mind if space is limited. A smaller light would likely perform similarly and could be stashed away more easily. I keep mine out because its so attractive.

This was a gift to my daughter in Maine. This time of year can be dreary. She works from home, mostly sitting in front of a computer and she set this up right where she does most of her work. Not too bright as to ba a distraction, and looks great compared to other SAD light "panels". She says it really does help with morale during these short winter days!

After researching the various daylight lamps on Amazon and just not really being impressed by more of them, despite the good reviews, I happened to come across this lamp. The price was quite a bit higher then any of the others but I really liked the more intelligent features and of course the very visually pleasing look. I bought it with some hesitation with the cost being so much higher then other lamps but as soon as it arrived and I used it I knew for certain that I'd made the right choice.It's just so much more pleasing and calming to look at then all the lamps that look like computer tablets, so even when it is not turned out, it still brings a smile to my face.The light settings are also great and the light is perfectly even and uniform. It is much brighter and casts it's light over a far wider range then all the little tablet ones, which is just great.I've found that it is also very versatile. I can use it as a lamp for taking photos as it provides a clean, color-correct light that allows me to not have to do color corrections in post.It does have one thing to be aware of. Not necessarily a problem, but good to know in advance-The stand for the light angles it upwards so it has to be placed lower then where you are sitting or laying to project it's light the best. But for a daylight lamp, having the light come shining down from above you would be better. The top surface of the light is flat enough that you can just set it upside down to get the nicer angle. But since it's not designed to be used that way, you have to be really careful that it won't fall over as it would likely break. I intend on getting a friend to 3D print a bracket/stand that will allow my to have it set upside down, but with no risk of falling.
