I needed a curtain rod for a small bathroom window. Since the room was just renovated with brushed nickel fixtures and accessories, I wanted a rod that would match the rest of the décor.The description states that this rod is made of "sturdy metal" which is a farce. It's aluminum at best and more likely plastic made to look like nickel. It is super light weight and I can't imagine it holding up to any kind of weight. That being said, this isn't an issue for me since it is only holding up a curtain topper.It looks just fine from a distance, was easy to install and holds up my curtain topper wonderfully, so if that is all you expect out of a curtain rod, by all means, buy it. But if you are looking for something of a little more quality, you might want to shop around a bit more.

Worked and then it started bending.

These rods aren't good for heavier fabrics but they are good for lightweight stuff up to 1/4 lb. The rod is a little heavier than the usual ones I've gotten which were cheaper but didn't seem to wear very well (as in you could bend them easily with your hands). These are nice and match my bathroom fixtures so I used them in there for very light weight curtains. I wish the hooks were just a little longer though so the curtains would stand out against the frame a little further.

We recently remodeled our master bathroom, and the old curtain rod was starting to sag in the middle. This rod is a lot sturdier than our old one, and the endcaps are a classy (but not overdone) addition. The nickel finish perfectly complements our other accessories in the room.
