Past-Life Regression - Ultra-Depth Hypnosis

Dick Sutphen does a masterful hypnosis induction on this CD. The excellent background sound effects for the Garden, Cabin and Beach scenes add pleasant, relaxing realism to the experience. Dick's voice modulation is confident, restful and relaxing. Couldn't be better. After several attempts, I personally have not been able to reach what I think is an actual hypnotic state of awareness, but I failed to be hypnotized twice IN PERSON with Howard Batie (read his 'Spiritual Journeys' book - it will blow you away!). I apparently am in the 10% or so who do not hypnotize easily, or even with difficulty. My plan is to continue practicing with Dick Sutphen's CD. I feel like I go a little deeper each time. Hopefully I will reach actual hypnosis eventually. If you are not hypnosis resistant like I am, this CD will send you into a past life experience ... like many other reviewers. I am envious of you who hypnotize easily. Read Howard Batie's book for amazing transcriptions of clients in contact with the Spirit Realm.

If you are decent at meditation or being able to visualize, this will do it for what you are looking for in a self directed past life regression session. I have had many regressions in person and also self directed via recording and this was my most vivid, profound, and detailed experience yet. Yes, elements of the counting down do get repetitive but think of how repetition gets you in a meditative state (drumming, etc.) If you are bored with "descending stairs" just imagine something more colorful, such as riding a giant slide that drops you off at different levels as you count down--that was pretty fun :) I got two pages of typed notes out of this, remembered everything especially when listening to it again and taking notes. It was a little hard to come out of, though. The best thing to compare it to is a dream--but you wake up and remember everything about it.

I have listened to this every night since I have purchased it. Some nights I get all the way through and have great visions and my imagination is running like wild fire. Other nights I am in a deep, relaxing sleep and wake up with powerful energy. I recommend this to anyone with an open mind willing to give stuff like this a chance. Our minds are such a powerful tool!

What a waste of money. I've been regressed before this was torture. Going down down down flights of stairs, after flights of stairs, after flights of stairs. I started to think I hope I don't have to climb all these stairs to come out of this regression. Also when he was counting down he kept saying,"number 1, number 2, number 3, etc." So annoying. When I was regressed before it was done to the count of 10. Just count you know 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. If you're really interested in past life regression, keep looking for someone else.

I transferred some of this CD to tape. There was too much preliminary relaxation for me to listen to each time before the guided regression took place. The first time I did this exercise, I got lost also. I traveled in time from the regression back into the current time. I have repeated using this CD another time and it was better.

I enjoy Mr. Sutphen's voice very soothing, the trouble is I can't seem to stay alert enough to learn about my past lives. But this product works great if you are having trouble sleeping!

I was very skeptical, but pleasantly surprised at how effective this turned out to be! I purchased the digital album last night and tried it immediately. I honestly thought I made everything up and thought I would have found nothing to validate my experience when I searched for information online today. I was absolutely floored at how accurate the information turned out to be, as there was no time I would have learned any of the historical facts related to my experience in school or elsewhere. This really does work if you want to explore past lives.Sutphen's voice is very relaxing. Perhaps my favorite part about this album is that nothing is rushed. Everything is at a slow pace, so you have plenty of time to experience the memories and visualize what he is suggesting during the induction process. I have done some guided meditations in the past for other things and have felt rushed and really struggled to keep up with those meditations, but not with this one! So if you are someone that likes to move slowly through a meditation (as I am), this is a great choice if you want to give past life regression a try. I will purchase more of Sutphen's albums based on my experience with this one and have recommended this to a family member already.

I've tried many past life regression hypnosis albums from a wide variety of sources. For example, I've used hypnosis scripts from Wolger, Moody, Weiss and Goldberg. I've also bought hypnosis tapes from some of them, as well as from many others, and none of them, for me, has had any appreciable affect. I have found Mr Sutphen's work to be the best for me. In my opinion, he is unique for several reasons. 1) His white light protection technique for his subjects has been the most effective. The result is that I feel I'm encased in a ball of brilliant white light. In 20 year's of practice, to include using The Monroe Institute's Gateway tapes series, I have never found myself in such brilliant ball of pure white light. It was astounding, and I think the sole reason for it is his unique technique and the manner in which he delivers it. 2) He is powerful and effective in the way he takes me down through increasingly deeper levels of hypnosis. I never feel rushed, and he has the ability to keep me focused on his instructions. 3) Occasionally, his methods have put me on the verge of Astral travel by inadvertently inducing a hypnogagic state, but I have never separated. I think the reason for this is that his instructions are geared for past life regression, and not for Astral travel.Like he clearly says in his album: the more we use it, the more effective it will become. I have definitely found this to be the case.
