Installation Steps: 1.First remove printed paper mounting template from back of unit. 2. Drill two pilot holes in the location where you want to mount the picture light. Place screws (included) in pre-drilled holes. Tighten slightly until secure, but do not tighten all the way. Slide EZ Mount Bracket keyhole slots over screw heads and into position. 3. Use the built-in bubble level to make sure the mounting bracket is level before securing it to the wall. 4. Once you confirm that the bracket is level, tighten the screws to secure it to the wall. Take care not to over tighten. 5. To hang the picture light on the mounting bracket, align the picture light with the mounting bracket and slide the unit down. Picture light will lock into position. 6. To remove the picture light from the mounting bracket: A) Hold the picture light by the base (not light head). B) Slide the unit up. Review: Easy to install, it does the job - I purchased this to provide more light in a shady corner where I hung a new piece of art. It was very easy to install, it comes with an easy to use template and even has a little level built right into it! I hung it myself with no trouble. I do not use it everyday - it’s turned on when we have guests or when I want to enjoy the art it’s mounted over. I read the reviews about it not being bright enough. I can see why someone might think that, if the area you are lighting is really dark or you are expecting bright illumination. I think it does the job. I love that you can adjust for cool or warm light, it has brightness control and a timer. The remote is really easy to use. It looks great, I highly recommend!
Review: Works well. I would consider it a good value. - I ordered two of these after being dissatisfied with a competitors product that I bought here on desertcart. First off it is packed very well. It takes three AA batteries. It was easy to install Though I did find the wall anchors substandard so I went and purchased better wall anchors at the hardware store. I used the level that was provided on the unit to make sure it was level. You install The provided bracket to the wall. And then slide the unit onto it. It fits snugly to the wall. The unit itself gives off good light. It has several options for color settings. The remote works very well from a distance of 10 feet . One Remote can work both systems independently simply by aiming at the one picture you wish to adjust. Both the right and left side of the Lighting unit could be adjusted independently Simply by turning it either Up or down. In closing I would like to say I highly recommend this item and if need be I will be purchasing more in the future.

**Q: Can you use this item outdoor in the weather?**
A: I would not recommend this for outdoor use. However, the beauty of being human is you can do whatever you set your mind to.

**Q: Can you hang this with command hanging strips?**
A: Yes, that’s what I used to hang it.  The light has a base, so you can lift up the light from it to change the batteries without removing the base.

**Q: Could this be used as a vanity table light?**
A: This is the easiest “screw to wall” light I have ever hung on a wall.  It is very lightweight, and all you need are two plastic Sheetrock anchors and two small screws.  You MUST make sure that the holes you drill in the Sheetrock are NOT larger in diameter than the anchors!  That is where most people have trouble. In addition, make sure the screws you are using are large enough in diameter to spread open the anchor in the Sheetrock.  I have 3 of these lights.  It took about 5 minutes to install each, or 15 minutes total.  I put them up about 4 years ago, with the original anchors and screws, and they haven’t moved, fallen out, or anything close to it!!  Once installed properly, they are solid!!! You can easily remove the light from the mounting bracket to change the batteries, then slide the light back on without any effort at all.  They are great lights and VERY EASY to install.  The guy who said they are difficult to install and he’s waiting for them to fall off, either did not use the right size drill bit of the anchors, used screws that did not work properly with the anchors, or he’s a complete moron!!  There is NO WAY he spent 40 years doing anything  mechanical, and couldn’t install these properly!!  NO WAY!!  I would be very nervous if I lived by the nuclear power plant he worked at!  Again, it took my 15 minutes to natal 3 of these lights!!  They are solidly attached to the wall, and have been on my walls for roughly 4 years!!

**Q: How are batteries installed**
A: The batteries go in the black rectangular base.  The base slides off/on the mounting bracket easily to remove it from (and place it back on) the wall when you need to change the batteries.  It's really very simple.  Note - the light dims as the batteries weaken.  So if you feel it's not bright enough lately, just change the batteries.

easy install, nice operates w/bateries ( no wire on wall) size is perfect, looks quite handsome although is nothing close to vintage look it plays well with the frame/pic color.Is not to bright golden and though is nice BUt I think is a little bit short on the light projection from the top to where I wanted to pop out the area of the pic.therefore I turned it to the right to project the light in the spot needed nevertheless it look nice if lights are low or off. but is not a high bright light projection, at least in mild yellow not white and it does not project far down neither, just enough from the top to I'd say halfish of the frame of 24'Hx20-22is'W. But however it does the work if U cannot or are not able to find or spend what U really would like.
