Noisy amp in tiny box
We are getting 3 whole amps with different settings for MIC and MODULATION (or simply put CHANNELS). In addition we get 3 MIC positions and under MODULATION we get 3 channels: CLEAN, HI G and HOT. For Eq settings we have LO and HI only, no MID.:(LEVEL and DRIVE decide the output which becomes very noisy before crossing the middle positions of either. This is a big piss off. And despite having a noise gate NR300, I am getting quite noise in the end. That's why I cut a star. But wait...I connected a MIC500Ultrgain in between guitar and TM300 as a pre-amp. If I remove the pre-amp, the noise is considerably reduced.Have you thought this pedal to be your combo amp going into mixer or into computer directly? Yes, this pedal can run without an amp actually or with an amp. Select AMP as TWEED for CLEAN playing without distortion from pedals. This is supposed to be the Fender Tweed sound.Choose BRITISH or CALIFORNIAN AMP for distortion play. British turns it into a Marshall and Calif turns it into a Mesa Boogie! You can mess around and find some new TONE of your own! Please do so and share, just don't tamper with the pedal. If you connect some distortion or similar pedals to it, keep MOD to CLEAN and very less noise will be generated. And this is how we use any amp if pedals are needed for distortion or overdrive. If you want to take advantage of its own Distortion, use HI G or HOT MOD.It works well with EQ700 put before it shaping the sound as needed and with DR400 put after it to add delay in any MOD.Final verdict: not for everyone but for players who have small solid state amp or no amp at all, this pedal has many uses till you actually buy your Fender or Marshall or Orange or Laney or ...:)

A pedal that drives you to bliss
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I am a bedroom guitarist and own an Orange crush 12l amp. While the amp sounds great by itself, it falls short of chunky distortion. Paired with the TM300 and its different modes and settings, I can get a very natural sounding overdrive and distortion through a complete solid state set up. And it gets loud evenly. Has a slight noise at higher levels but the knobs and switches do offer different tones. Mic setup is one option I never fiddle with. Worth the money easily

Worth the price of if you’re a beginner and want to have tube amp sounds
Behringer gives really great sounds for the low price. This pedal gives a total of 27 different tube amp sounds of 3 main amps1)Tweed (Fender Twin Reverb)2) Brit3) CaliIt has many other tube modellers which alters the way you want the sound asIf you want a low output consider getting a noise gate with it as I paired with a 40W bass amp (gives a really great sound tbh) the output volume is quite high even at 10% so consider getting a noise gate if you have a medium wattage amp and don’t want to disturb the house. Overall I’d give a 4.5/5 for this pedal. It’s true that Boss gives a better sound but if you have a budget concern and want to get a great tone out of it this is the pedal.PS I run this through a Squier Affinity strat hooked up to a Stranger PM40 bass amp(mostly I play bass) and it gives me a great tone.

good little pedal!
this isn't quite a multi-sounding modelling amp, but it gives you a few choices as to what sort of sound you would like to hear from your guitar.it's made by Behringer and as is always the case the body is plastic rather than a metal alloy. as long as you don't try and stamp it into submission it won't break. personally i love Behringer stomp boxes, they aren't too expensive, and the tech within them is very similar to that which you'll find in Boss pedalsTweed is the best sounding setting on this pedal. it's all subjective though isn't it. i like tweed because it has that lovely, pronounced crunchiness and this pedal (almost) makes my sad little practise amp sound Fenderish

For the price, can’t really fault it
So, having already bought several pedals from Behringer, I decided to try this one out for recording into my DAW/laptop.Good range of sounds from warm overdrive to proper grind on all three amp model settings when using Hot or more.Knocked off a star because only the Tweed setting is truly clean when set so.This is my second one, as the first one had a problem with gain (excessive on Brit and Calif)Replacement sent out and seems much better. That aside, really useful pedal.I’m thinking of buy another one to replace another distortion pedal that is a little brutal.

You won't find anything that sounds as good as this any where near this price!
It was recently that I was putting together a small pedalboard setup with a metro 16 from pedal train. Ive used many Behringer products in the past so they was where I looked first to find this modeller pedal. Within minutes of using this pedal I was almost ashamed to say that I preferred it to some pedals I have paid triple the price for! There is so much flexibility in sound from this pedal and it has a much nicer depth than you'll find on a lot of plain distortion pedalsAs with any Behringer pedal it is designed similarly to Boss pedals but maid from all plastic construction to save on costs - Which really is the only fault with this pedal. Us musicians tend to abuse our gear and im not sure how well this thin plastic will hold up over time. Ive never had a problem with them breaking before but I must say I've never wanted to use them as often as this - This one has learned a permanent spot on my board. Its just that great.

A really feisty unit.
This is a really good pedal. The mic. positions make a real difference to the tone, as do the amp models and amp types. It will give a really nice warm clean tone on 'Tweed' with 'clean' on the MOD button and 'classic' on the MIC button. The drive is really powerful - be careful not to turn it and the LEVEL up high when you first connect to a DAW. Only two slight issues - it is slightly noisy with the LEVEL and DRIVE knobs past 10 o'clock and the buttons which switch between the various modes make quite a clunking sound as you change them.Overall, remarkably good for £20.

Bargain price & handy little pedal
A bargain price for a good quality, well made modelling amp pedal. It is surprisingly heavy & is made out of strong plastic material. I tried powering it by battery, but this uses a lot of power & it does not operate when the battery is low. I use it with a mains adaptor & this is a lot better. Depending where the pedal is placed, there can be a lot of interference noise, so it has to be placed away from other powered objects such as an amplifier. It is also a lot better using shielded cables, it makes a big difference to the amount of interference. There are a large amount of sounds that can be obtained from this pedal, from clear tones to heavily distorted. It is good fun playing about with the settings on the pedal & tone controls on the guitar to see what sounds can be made. It works best on the clean channel on an amplifier & using the pedal controls to get the desired effect. A handy little gadget that makes a good variety of sounds.
