Second update: I received 4 replacement mugs, and so far none have cracked or chipped. They hold heat well, and the lids that came with them fit better than the previous ones. Very satisfied with the new mugs, and with the excellent customer service. Update: After writing my initial review, the company reached out and offered me either a refund or replacement of the item. They were very friendly and considerate. I never expected anything, just wanted to review the mugs. I will update again when I get the replacements. Doesn’t keep coffee warm. The 2nd day we had these, one of the handles cracked. The metal piece on the bottom of 2 fell off, and the others get rusty. Also smaller than I thought they would be. I only bought them because they were domino some really nice ones we had bought before, but those are no longer available. Lids do not fit well, either.

After spilling coffee on my keyboard for the hundredth time, I sought out a sturdy mug that didn't tip over so readily and had some sort of cover that was easy to use and keep clean. This mug is IT! Both mugs have been used daily over the last month -- no notes! These work great. They are quite heavy so they're good at keeping my coffee/tea warm and also the few times I've knocked one with my elbow it did not spill. I'm a little confused about the cork base, though. Personally, I don't see the point in a built-in coaster and in addition it's an extra step to pull it off before cleaning. I tend to forget to do this and then it'll sit in a wet sink until I remember, d'oh. Fortunately for now that hasn't ruined them but I feel like it's only a matter of time.

Doesn't keep coffee warm for long. Still like them because metal mugs has an after tase. Magnetic cork bottom can be taken off which we like. Good quality mug and heavier than we thought.

First order lasted years but recently broke last cup. Ordered new set and the bottom of both cups falls off within two weeks of using… quality not as in previous cups… would not purchase again.

I have been searching for something like this for A LONG time. I make myself a fancy-ish coffee/tea every morning. I am someone who, when drinking a hot beverage... actually likes it to stay hot. So I typically drank out of a "travel mug" while at home. But this is so much more... satisfying. The ceramic is great, as is the rich color, and the cork is not only aesthetic but functional (no ring marks on your wooden coffee table or nightstand). In fact, you could say that about the whole mug. Aesthetic and functional. My favorite combination for all things in life. The well-fitting lid that sinks discreetly and reminds you of perfection, just like shade-grown sustainably grown locally roasted coffee mixed with the just the right amount of turbinado sugar and organic heavy cream. Perfection containing perfection. Doesn't get much better than that. Bonus, they come with two, and my girlfriend loves hers too. She doesn't need her drink to stay as hot though... so she doesn't use the lid as religiously as I do. That's what is so cool about it. with a travel mug, when you aren't using a lid it just seems like its missing from the design. These remain elegant with or without. This will definitely be a gift I give others as I can't imagine anyone not liking these.

If you like coffee in a ceramic mug vs. stainless steel, and want to take it to go, these are an excellent option. Keeps coffee warm and doesn't spill. The cork bottom portion is a neat feature to help it from clanking on counters or slipping on surfaces, also you get two for a great price. The only downside to these mugs is the cork is held on with a magnet and thus can not be put in the microwave. Would I recommend this product: Yes.

2 ceramic mugs for under $25! Solid, great quality & gray color are all reasons to purchase. The magnet on the bottom of one mug came off so we glued it back on.
