The soft surface of the rug is a little different than most bath rugs I have had before. It reminds me of the chenille blankets. The rugs are truly able to stay in place, as advertised. I almost just got the contour rug but saw this set and thought it would look nicer having the two rugs. I did not even measure before ordering but got lucky in how nicely they fit.I love the color and how soft they are. Normally I prefer cotton rugs but I took a chance on these and was happy. A lot of times these microfiber type things come with a chemical smell but these did not. That really made me happy because I have chemical sensitivities and this can be a deal breaker for me.The rugs are lightweight but super soft and I like how they look in my bathroom. The backing has some grip to it so they will stay put instead of floating around the room. I really love them.Lastly the price was super affordable compared to what I was seeing in the store. It was comparable or maybe a little cheaper.
