I bought this TP‑Link PCIe WiFi adapter to get an older Dell Precision workstation connected to my home network, and it couldn’t have been easier. It comes with a low‑profile bracket in the box, which is handy if you’re working with a smaller case. Installation was straightforward, slot it in, power up, and it was recognised straight away without any fuss.For the price, the quality is exactly what I expect from TP‑Link. Nothing flashy, just solid, reliable kit for home use that does what it’s supposed to. The connection has been solid since installing it, no random dropouts or messing around with driversall the time.I don’t really have any complaints. If you’re after a simple, affordable way to add Wi‑Fi to an older machine.

Easy to install and works fine with good range and fast speeds.Drivers can be downloaded online and install quickly as well as work ok. Only issue I have is (most likely a driver issue) that they sometimes randomly disconnect from my wifi. This can interrupt gaming or calls but can be fixed by simply reconnecting from the Wi-Fi menu. Please be aware of this before you buy.This card also has a heat sink on it, this greatly improves performance.Overall, a good product that is worth the money.

Installation of the card was simple like any other expansion card, my experience is based on Windows 10 so software issues may not be an issue on newer versions.Straight out of the box the card was detected and installed with no issues and I was able to connect to my network, however every 15 minutes or so it would drop the connection and I would need to reboot the computer to get it reconnected.Checking the device manager I see that the driver windows installed was very out of date (2016) so I downloaded the newest software from the TP Links website, installed the updated driver and I have had no issues since.Updating drivers should be done anyway but I know some people sometimes forget so if you have this card and are having connection drop issues, try updating.Other than that the ecard has been fast and reliable.

I have recently been using a USB Wi-Fi adaptor which has served its purpose, but it has suffered from Wi-Fi dropouts and is only limited at 300mbps bandwidth. I needed a faster Wi-Fi card so I could stream and download at faster speeds, This TPlink fits the bill. It has solved my Wi-Fi dropouts and gives a steady connection without any data dropouts, web browsing, downloading and basic gaming are a breeze now and I am very happy with this PCI network adaptor.It’s very easy to install fits most PCI express ports on most PCs, my PC is over 8 years I installed this card without any issues.Overall a decent Wi-Fi card.

Bought this as I recently got new WiFi and my old network card wouldn't support it. It works well but had to mess around with trying to install the drivers to get it to work for a while - most modern computers don't have disk drives anymore and finding these drivers online was somewhat challenging. After getting them installed and set up I have had no issues with this adapter and can get speeds comparable to other devices on my network.EDIT: On and off for the past year, the card has been quite unstable. Despite always having the correct drivers installed, my connection frequently disconnects for a few seconds, particularly when doing WiFi-intensive tasks like watching livestreams or participating in a Zoom meeting. My phone, connected to the same network, gets speeds 4x that of my computer using this card at all times. There are other highly rated TP-Link adapters so I'll probably switch to a different (possibly external/USB) adapter and hope this product is a one-off.

Sometimes the simple things do it the best.I bought this to (obviously) add WI-FI capabilities to an existing computer, it was on sale at the time and was a great price. However, I was not expecting it to perform so well!It is a PCi card so installation requires the opening of a computer and fitting into a spare slot, something to note if you are not comfortable but YouTube can help you here. Once installed, Windows added the required drivers automatically and Wi-Fi was available. At the time I was in a part of the house that usually does not have perfect Wi-Fi but this received full signal, and that was surprising but certainly not unwelcome.Overall, if you are looking to add wireless connectivity and don't want to break the bank, but you DO want excellent performance; I could not recommend this highly enough.

At first this product was absolutely fine and I had no problems playing my favourite games. It was easy to setup but about 3 weeks after getting it I started experiencing some issues. The wifi kept disconnecting and when I ran windows diagnostics it kept saying that there was a problem with the network adapter. I soon found that one of the antennas had flopped because they are made of a very cheap material so I fixed it and had no problems for a short while. That brings us to yesterday where the wifi kept disconnecting more and more frequently until I could not use it what so ever. As I’m writing this I’m think about setting up an Ethernet cable as it is much easier, faster and cheaper. When I ran windows diagnostics yesterday after each disconnect it kept saying that the default gateway was not available so after looking it up and trying every solution there was I came to the conclusion that it was a bad quality network adapter. I had a very bad experience with this and I think the average rating is very misleading. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

If you are buying this in the hope of it working in a PC with any version of Windows below Windows 10 you are out of luck! It doesn't. Regardless of the the incorrect description, driver support for this device is only windows 10 32bit, and 11 64bit. I confirmed this with TP-Link support. Amazon's Rufus will tell you drivers for windows 7, 8 etc are on the included mini CD but they aren't and as the device doesn't support earlier Windows versions they aren't available to download either.The information for this device needs correcting. I now have to return it.

Funcionaba bien pero después de dos semanas empezó a fallar y ahora ya no agarra nada la señal.La verdad una gran decepción.

This works really well.I feel the heatsink was overkill but it is what it is, Not a bad adapter card and works well.
