Good scope for the money
Good scope. Good lighting. Can’t beat it for the price

Outstanding
This is as fine a scope as any, especially at this price. Clarity is good, end to end. Adjustments are smooth and spot on. I’ve a number of vortex products and their warranty is far better than any other scope manufacturer. I’ve Leupold products as well as Burris. Again, product reliability and warranty on vortex products is outstanding in comparison to the aforementioned manufacturers.

Great product and a great value.
Great scope at a great price. Optics are great!! After sighting the scope in, the first hunting shot the next day, was a money shot, at 205 yards. I’m very happy with the purchase!

Killer scope
Great scope but have to give 4 stars because although it's a great scope it is pricey. Vortex has the best customer service and warranty though I hope I don't need it for this scope

So great. Lightweight, compact, simple, rugged, beautifully clear, and backed by the best warranty in the biz.
I have Vortex, Nikon, Burris, and Primary Arms optics. I've tested the warranty on the Nikon (those convenient "pull to set-zero" turrets just fall off and disappear after a couple of minor bonks against the shooting table, can't imagine how they'd handle a real fall to the ground). Nikon sent me a new scope within 12 days (but I live in the same city, Los Angeles, as their warranty center). I've tested the warranty on the Primary Arms - it was defective out of the box, and they readily exchanged it, though they REALLY wanted to be sure I hadn't mounted the scope yet - that's concerning, were they hoping to pawn it off on someone who wouldn't see the giant black blob at 10 o'clock? I've never had to test the warranty service on any Vortex (they're just LEGENDARY for warranty service), and my Burris scopes were perfect out of the box and seem indestructable. Alright, enough about warranties. This is not a particularly cheap scope for my application: a general purpose 10/22 for Appleseed KD clinics, hunting, and plinking. But I've seen much more expensive scopes on .22's, and many much cheaper crappier ones. I think this is a very happy medium. This scope is not inexpensive. And it's worth every penny. It's well qualified for a big hunting rifle, and the covered turrets, BDC reticle, side-parallax, and gorgeous clarity will make it great in the field. The smoothly adjustable parallax that goes down to 30 yards makes it terrific for a .22, and for Appleseed events, whether 25 meters, or "Known Distance" and long range events. The long 12x zoom is brilliant out past 75 yards or more when you have a stable position, and the short 3x zoom is excellent for scouting/scanning/searching and closer range plinking or timed matches, or just shooting very quickly from a standing position. I think I might get the 4-16x for my next 22 build, especially since it also focuses down to 30 yards! On my ARs, I prefer illuminated reticles or 1x red dots, or else this scope would be a great option there too.

Excellent scope nothing bad to say. If you're looking for a 40mm variable scope this one's worth looking at.

Great scope at a great price. Feels sturdy, clear, nice options, has a sun shade and life time warranty. For 400 dollars canadian I couldn't ask for much more in a scope without there being quality issues.
