All Category cables have UTP and STP designators. STP is a pain in the ass and is worse than UTP if you don’t properly ground the connectors. You are fine using UTP if you do not run parallel with power within 12 inches of each other. You can cross Power perpendicularly with UTP without issue. **Q: Can anyone confirm 10Gbps on this cable? If so, at what lengths?** A: I can't confirm 10Gbs but if any cable can do it this one would. It has a very precise internal structure and is the max diameter wire that will fit in a cat 6 connector. It solved our 100 meter dropout problem but we weren't running that fast **Q: How long is the reel of cable? It's a little unclear as to whether it's a 100 Meter reel or if that's the run distance supported.** A: 100 meter length, we replaced a 150 ft CAT 5 cable with this and our dropouts went away, very happy with this cable, it uses much thicker signal wire and the cable sheathing is very strong, larger bend radius because of the strength. **Q: What is jacket rating?
