After six months, great value & adjustability, quite noisy, maybe you're too short
There are better chairs for more money. For this money (I paid £135), this chair is excellent. At £175 I'd reconsider but wouldn't advise against.I sit in it for hours every day, and I'm very happy with a few small caveats. The adjustability is mostly excellent. Primarily I wanted something with vertically adjustable arms; these go up down, forward, back, in, out, and rotate. Excellent. I don't know why this is so rare at this price point. You'll have to set the width as you assemble because redoing it isn't as simple as flipping a lever, but it's six screws and once you're happy, you'll never change it again. On that, those who moan about the arms being lopsided haven't assembled it correctly. Admittedly it can be a bit finickity, but that's user, not product error. See also the backrest; check it as you go because if you don't screw in evenly, it will be lopsided, and it'll be your own fault. The seat is large and comfortable. Sometimes I sit upright as I type, sometimes I slouch as I game, sometimes I have one leg crossed under me as I browse. Often I recline and fall asleep with my feet on the desk. The chair is fine with all of it. And I do sleep in it, quite comfortably. The recline can be locked, set very loose, or set so you really have to force it back, with gradients in between. Mine is just right so it's bolt upright when I'm working, and easily pushes back and stays there when I want to relax. The headrest was something I didn't think I needed, and to be honest while I'm sat up I don't. It doesn't touch me. But leaning back it's very comfortable. Reclining wouldn't be half as nice without it. It's not the best adjustability-wise. It's tough to pull up behind you, and you can push it down accidentally with your neck, but it's okay. It also rotates vertically. And if you don't want it, you don't have to put it on.The negatives, well, if you're short, it might not be for you (though you're probably used to that so maybe you won't mind). I'm 5'8" and while the height adjusts easily to whatever I'm comfortable with (and goes considerably lower - a child would be fine with the height), the seat is just a bit too deep for my thighs, and even during assembly there's really not much you can do to change that. Some guides suggest a fist sized gap between your inner knee and the edge of a chair; that's not possible with this if I'm sat right back. As a result the lumbar support is something I've struggled with, and I'm still not quite there. It does adjust quite a lot though, And while it could be a better fit, I don't have any complaints re comfort. The arms are, even as close as they'll go, just a shade too wide for me. I mean really, just. An inch tighter together might be perfect.I recline a lot, and it's now noisy as a result. Having just noticed this, I don't know how much it will irritate me in future, but if you're after silence this could be a deal breaker. If you like posing like Captain Kirk on zoom calls, set the arms wide.Personally I'm not a fan of the chrome base, but I'm rarely looking at it so who cares? Rolls quite well on my medium carpet. Feels solid. Reclining all the way back (I was 200 lbs when I bought this) I never feel unsafe. The mesh is excellent. I spent a lot of time looking at leather chairs; I'm very happy I chose this instead. Absolutely the right choice. It breathes well in a very hot room, and hugs the back nicely. I may never buy leather again.I'm pretty much set with this for however many years it holds together now. I can't imagine replacing it unless a fault develops. I bought it thinking "this will do for now until I can get a more expensive one" but I've no intention of shopping around now. My partner has a faux leather one with those vertically rotating arms that you see for about the same price point as this, and the difference between that rubbish and this is night and day. I feel pretty smug. I really, really like it, and the only time I'd tell someone to hesitate would be if they were shorter than me. But that's it. Definitely recommended. I'd buy again from the same manufacturer.

Good not Great
I purchased this chair a few weeks ago, because I work from home and needed an upgrade to my very basic office chair, I paid £120.99 because of a discount code that was available at the time I purchased it. I was very tempted by a much more expensive Steelcase Leap V.2, because my chair when I worked in an office was the Steelcase Think V.2, which I found to be incredibly comfortable. However, I could not justify the price tag of the Steelcase chairs. After owning the chair for a couple of weeks, I thought I would share my thoughts about it as it may help others in their buying decision because my opinion as a random dude on the internet means so much to other random people on the internet lol. Jokes aside, I've tried to be as detailed as possible and broken the review up into the various components of the chair, giving my opinion.I've included details about myself such as my height and weight, because I think that certain aspects directly impact the chairs comfort and functionality.Height: 5ft 7"Weight: 14stAverage/Athletic BuildNo known physical health issues.Packaging and Assembly:The chair arrives in a sturdy box, which is a very handy size and all the components are well packaged, to protect them from any damage in transit. The instructions for assembly are very clear and the process is really straightforward, however Mfavour missed a trick in the instructions because the box is a good height to place the chair on, during assembly, which makes the process much easier.Headrest:The headrest is one of the features that pushed me towards this particular chair over many of the others that are available. There is some adjustment, which is mentioned in the description. I find the headrest isn't the most secure, in that once you have set it in place, it doesn't stay in place, which is frustrating because it could be such an easy fix for Mfavour to solve, a tighter fit on the fixing points and the problem would be rectified very easily. I'm also not a fan of the mesh and I really wish that Mfavour offered an option with something similar to the Seat on the headrest.Back:The first thing to note about the Back, is the way it is fixed to the seat. This done by sliding the bracket on the seat in between two channels on the heavy duty plastic bit. The Bracket has a small slots for the bolts which allows for some minor adjustment of the back position. However, the two plastic slots on the Back are not wide enough and subsequently are stopped from going any further by some bolts on the seats, which subsequently means that you lose some adjustment and the fixing bolts sit in the middle of the slot as oppose to the very end. This is such a silly flaw because the slots are less than 5mm to tight. Also adding an additional 2mm to the length of the slots on the bracket would very easily add more adjustment. Again, such frustrating design flaws, which reduces the overall functionality of the chair. I've included pictures to illustrate what I'm referring to.The lack of depth adjustment for the Back, does mean it is a little further back for than I would like, it's not so much that the Chair is uncomfortable, but enough that it annoys me and means I don't get the maximum benefit from the lumbar adjustment and it's not perfectly comfortable. In terms of the actual shape of the Back, I can't fault it because it does conform to the natural curvature of the spine and leads to the headrest very comfortably. As I already stated about the headrest, I'm not a fan of the Mesh backing, and I would have much preferred the same thing on the Back that's on the Seat, which funny enough would have likely made the depth of the Back a non-issue because there would be another 40mm of padding.Armrests:The Armrests was another one of the features, which I was particularly drawn to, given they have 3D adjustment. The absence of being able to move them side to side isn't really a major deal, because they can be twisted diagonally albeit not very far. In terms how far they can be adjusted unfortunately they just don't go far enough, which means when I lean back in the chair, I can't rest my elbows on the armrest because they can't go back enough. However the Armrests are quite comfortable to rest my Arms on.The Seat and Base:Possibly the most important feature of any chair and I have to say they have largely got this right. It's very comfortable to sit in and I can sit for hours. However the overall size of the Seat, I think is just a little too big, pair that with the position of the Back and the back of my knees are right up to the edge of the Seat which is not the ideal seating position. The height of the Seat is also an issue for me, to get into the optimal ergonomic position the Seat for me needs to be roughly around 80mm lower than its lowest point. Again, something that could be very easily solved with some minor tweaks.Overall:The Chair on the whole feels well made and robust, however, at my weight, it's unlikely I'm going to strain anything to breaking point. I feel the chair is made for people taller than I am. If you are 5ft 10" and above, then this chair will likely serve you incredibly well. However, if you under this height, I think there are too many little design flaws which make it less than ideal.I emailed Mfavour directly to see if there are any solutions that can be offered to help resolve the issues I've mentioned without impacting the warranty, however nothing could be done. For the price, it is a good chair, without the silly little design flaws, I've mentioned above and the option of Fabric and Foam Back, this chair would be easily be up there as one of the best buys available.

I'm 5'5 (167 cm)
Firstly, very easy to assemble. I've never put together an office chair before and was able to do so on my own in 20 minutes with ease.Back support screws can be tricky on your own as it's difficult to keep it straight, but still doable with one person. Some mechanics are quite oily / greasy to be sure to keep away from clothes, however gloves were provided.Build quality is strong and firm, some area's of the chairs plastic have marks / a little scuffed from Factory although nothing concerning. Mesh is strong and very durable & the back support is surprisingly thick & strong.Comfort is something I was worried about as many people advised this chair was for people 5'9 & taller, however this does not seem the case. The back support is the perfect size for me being 5'5 and keeps my back nice & straight alongside the right height for armrests. The only downfall with being short & using this chair, you will need a footrest to match your desk height, for my feet to touch the floor, I am unable to reach my desk properly & at the correct desk height my feet do dangle, foot rest highly rec commend if you're under 5'8.Head rest again is very firm and supports my head / neck correctly at my height, although it seems to take a while to get use to.Overall, great chair! Far more supporting than any high end 'gaming racer' chair & thankfully is suitable for someone my height.
