Jabra 510 is the Office Road Warrior's Best Pal!
I was told a year or so ago that this Jabra was a good device... I had spent several weeks working remotely in Europe and after spending hours on the phone with ear buds... then with over-the-ear headphones that had an integrated microphone... and feeling like my ears were full of hot sweat and realizing that no matter how comfortable something feels at first... after hours even a soft pillow can start to hurt, I felt like there had to be something better. I quickly forgot about the Jabra devices until I was again at a meeting in a hotel without a speakerphone. We had to dial someone in and the connection was terrible. People had to lean over the phone and shout directly at the thing just to make themselves heard. Anyway... flash forward a few months and I happen to be a in room with our IT group. One of the guys was zipping this thing up into the little case and it reminded me that I should check it out. I decided to go ahead and order one. All I can say is WOW!! This thing connects to my iPhone 6s Plus with no problems whatsoever. I have also used it at work to connect directly with the USB cable for use with computer audio. One thing I have found is that the computer audio itself is usually the weak link. I have used some services in the past (Lync) and had little problems... others (GoTo something...) have had bigger problems. This has had nothing to do with the speaker. I am once again in Europe and have used this thing for approximately 40 hours of teleconferences back to the states. The call quality is pure and crisp and plenty loud for me working at my little home-away-from-home desk. The battery life is tremendous. I have only plugged it into charge a couple of time and neither time was the thing even half-way drained. I know that the answer/hang-up buttons only work with real phone calls. I have been using Skype to dial real numbers. I don't think it is a limitation of the device so much as a limitation of Skype and bluetooth perhaps. I don't even find it to be a nuisance because the ability to have a clear and crisp conference call with a speakerphone like this is really just fantastic. It is now going with me on every single work trip. I even bought one for my spouse. I can honestly say that if you are going to be working remotely (out of the country)... then your go-bag should have this device... a phone with international data for Skype (T-mobile has a great plan these days... unlimited data in 140 countries included with a regular plan)... and perhaps a Skype calling plan (unlimited calls back to the US for 3 months). If you toss in a small keyboard and perhaps a USB-powered monitor... you basically can have an office anywhere in the world that is fully functional and doesn't give you head or ear aches. This thing is a winner for me... it has been exhaustively tested...I don't write a lot of Amazon reviews, but this thing is really that good and worth my time writing up. Only real downside? The case that comes with it is a tiny bit snug. It works just fine... I had to search to find a gripe. Now I need to prep for 7 hours of calls coming up in 30 minutes!

A good multi-tasker for office and travel
I use this at the office for Microsoft Lync meetings. Just plug into a USB port on the laptop and you'll have good sound and mic pickup for online meetings. It's 100 times better than using the laptop's speakers and mic. The reason I purchased this model over the less expensive non-bluetooth version was for use with my iPhone while on the road. It syncs up well with the phone and provides the same improvement in sound quality when using it as a speakerphone for the iPhone. This is especially useful for meetings that pop up during trips or while working with a group offsite. In fact, I've used this with my phone in small conference rooms that were not equipped with a speakerphone and everyone was impressed with the quality. The case and cord storage are great - it's in my bag everyday so wherever I am it can be put in play if needed. I've also used it in vehicles that didn't have hands free systems to allow everyone to participate in the call. Sure - it is quite a bit more than the non-bluetooth version, but if you have any use at all for a speakerphone while on the go, I'd pony up the extra money and get this model. I should note, it is not very loud for music - I was kinda hoping it could serve as a bluetooth speaker for music while traveling, but it just doesn't have enough umph. Before purchasing I thought that might be the case - I was just hoping I would be pleasantly surprised. It's no Jawbone or JBL, but it does well as a speakerphone and the USB connection allows it to interface with Lync seamlessly. I think the USB connection is key and what makes this a unique product. I needed to purchase something that would wok at the office and on the road and the Speak 510 has been doing a great job.

Excellent Speakerphone for FaceTime Calls
I purchased this Jabra Speake 510 for my parents - given the COVID-19 situation, we have been having daily FaceTime calls. To give them a bigger viewing experience during the FaceTime call, I had them connect their small iPad to the living room TV via HDMI, with the iPad serving as the viewcam and mic while the TV being the display. However since the iPad was kept near the TV, the volume of their voice during the call was reduced as they were seated on the sofa about 2m away from the iPad (mic). There's where this Jabra Speak 510 speakerphone came to the rescue - the simple Bluetooth connectivity with the iPad enabled my parents to easily set it up during our daily call - just a press of a button once the call is on and it is connected. They place the speakerphone close to them on the sofa during the call, making their voice sound really clear with reasonably good fidelity. Further, the sound quality of the call with this Jabra Speakerphone is so good that my parents who usually have trouble understanding my speech (a combination of my garbled tenor voice and their aged hearing) can now hear my voice during the call, loud and clear. An excellent product with simple usability, I would recommend this product if you need something that works well and reliably out of the box. It remains to be seen how long this product will last as I just purchased it recently - I am hoping it keeps on working for many a years.
