(Mac) Figured it out!
I Bought this product to get surround sound on my imac i5, with an old set of 5.1 Logitech speakers. It took a while to figure it out for me, because the drivers that come with it are only for PC. Well it turns out the drivers are built in. All you have to do is plug in the USB to the computer and the 3 color audio cables (from the speakers) into the device. On the desktop go to (system preferences, sound, output, usb sound device) Bing, Bang, Boom! Works great.I made the mistake of buying multiple toslink cables and mini adapters. No need!

Works for Macs
I bought a new 27'' iMac in the summer of 2011 and I wanted to use it as my work station and an entertainment center. I used this sound card to hook up my Bose companion 3 & 2 speakers to my computer to get surround sound.Check out this video: [...]I basically copied what he did in the video but hooked it up to my mac and replaced the creative x-fi sound card with this one. It sounds awesome! But the only thing that supports surround sound are DVD's.I wish it worked for iTunes or Netflix but as far as I know, they don't provide surround sound support. So if you have an awesome DVD collection it is worth purchasing.

Works as advertised
I had a heck of a time finding an OS-X compatible usb sound card. I'm very happy with this one.
