American Pit Bull Terrier (Smart Owner's Guide)

An amazing book on Pit bulls. They really don't call it "smart owners guide" for nothing. Tons of great information on training, health, socialization, everything you need to know. I'm very satisfied and so happy to finally have it added to my extensive dog book collection. Great book!

American Pit Bull Terrier Smart Owner's Guide is a great source of information on owning Amstaffs. Most things I would agree on in the book. Pictures are especially great and there are lots of them. Quite a good read

had trouble with first book we received but came with cds ect was very nice . But because of packaging and shipper it was soaked but was quickly replaced but not with the same value pack with the cds but very quick replacement and good book

A copy of this book should be sent to all the State offices in which the Pit Bull is banned in their state. Excerps of the article on how these dogs served our country should especially be sent to the idiots that proposed the legislation in the first place. I have long admired the breed, but reading about the history gave me a new admiration and respect for this true example of an American. We embrace K-9s from Europe and other countries, whose dogs are just as viscious, and more unstable than the pitbull. Drunk drivers and other impaired creatures on our roads kill and maim more people daily than all the pitbulls in the United States. I dont see the courts or any state legislature, banning these dangerous creatures behind the wheel of a car when they are caught and convicted.

This was my first time owning a pitbull and this book was amazing on tips for how to care for him.

Based on what I have read this is going to be really nice very helpful lecture the version a received has 2 free DVDs this could not be improved thanks

I thought it was a great book, I don't agree with the negative reviews but it is all a matter of opinion. If you got a pittie in your life this is a great book.
