Review: Perfect Microphone for fighting the globalists - I've used this in my alex jones show podcast for a number of years, perfect quality.
Review: Would do it again. - Upgraded from a Rode NT-USB (USB condenser mic) to this, powered by a SSL 2+ MkII. PROS - my noise floor dropped through the... floor. truly amazing - the captured voice sounds great (to be fair the NT-USB sounded pretty good as well) - easy to EQ/tune in post (but sounds pretty good without) - feels like amazing build quality - comes with a nice little carrying case, not that I plan to travel with it... but great if I were swapping mics more in the studio CONS - gain-hungry... I have my SSL 2+ MkII turned to ~9.5/10 and still have to end up boosting an extra ~9dB on the noise gate and +300% as a final lift in the chain. The end effect is good, still with a remarkably low noise floor... but that feels like I must be doing something wrong. - extremely sensitive to touching the boom arm (without shock mount) or anything at all that could telescope into it microphonically (e.g. tapping the desk). I'm not shocked (get it?) by this, but supposedly it has great internal shock resistance... I would disagree. Regardless, a new shock mount is on the way (my previous was incompatible and I didn't want to chop it up). Overall impressed though, and would do it over again. The end before/after on my audio chain is night and day improved.

**Q: Will this fit a rode nt1-a xlr mic?**
A: I don't think so. As far as I'm aware the 309a suspension mount is designed specifically to fit the Electrovoice RE range of microphones.

**Q: Does the official clamp come with this or do I have to buy it separately? ps I dont mean the shock mount, I mean the low profile clamp.**
A: Yes, my RE320 was supplied with a plastic clamp for basic mic stand attachment. In my opinion it is a little low quality for this microphone but it does help to keep the cost down I suppose.

**Q: Any good for singing?**
A: Only microphone I use for singing... Its also what was used for Nirvana's In Utero, you wouldn't catch me dead in the studio without one.

Microfono Top de la marca Electro Voice. Válido tanto para voces como para grabar instrumentos.. es un muy buen micrófono versátil. Si solo buscas algo para voz y tienes dinero.. ve directo a por el RE20, es un clásico y no falla. Yo tengo ambos y la verdad, son 2 grandes micros, nada que objetar a ninguno. No es necesario gastar los casi 600€ del RE20 para tener una calidad muy buena de audio. Para mi es un microfono de alta calidad aunque claro, existiendo el EVRE20 y el EVRE27 que son bastante mas caros, este se engloba en un nivel medio.. Yo lo recomiendo.
