Are there holes in the bottom of the basket? Want to use it as a strainer.

The bottom of the basket is not a solid piece of plastic but basically the same design as the four sides. I don't consider them as holes (round) but each spacing is about a 1/2" long by 1/4" wide. Should work as a strainer if material being strained isn't too small.
