Bose SoundDock Series II 30-Pin iPod/iPhone Speaker Dock (Black)

I got a really good deal on this Bose Sound Dock system. It works great with my iPhone 4s (ignore the other customers who says it doesn't). The original price was $249.99 on Bose.com and I knew I could find it cheaper so I went here to Amazon and found it at a really good price. If you don't know about Bose, it's a high quality sound system. It comes installed in most GM cars, they have surround systems, speakers, and even a suspension system for your car that gives you a smooth ride. I would know because I have the Bose stereo system in my car and the Bose suspension system. But anyway bragging about how awesome Bose is... The Bose Docking System II is very small. The sound quality is so clear. The packaging came within it's time frame. It was very well packaged. I purchased a used docking system but I can't tell it's used because it's in such great condition. In the back of the product, it has an auxiliary output. It didn't come with an auxiliary cord. I don't know if it was supposed to but I have my own cord so it didn't matter to me. Also in the box is the remote (new remote). The volume, play, and off buttons are the only ones that work. I don't have a problem getting up and changing the song myself. The sound quality is what you would expect from Bose. And if you are a common Bose customer, you know that Bose makes the smallest products and they get REALLY LOUD. The sound is really clear (unless you have a song that is mono; I strongly recommend that you have all songs in stereo. Songs in mono sound crappy on any sound system). I haven't turned it up all the way because I stay in my dorm and I don't want to get a noise complaint lol. I couldn't bring my huge stereo on campus so the Sound Dock replaced it and is just as loud and saves a lot of space. I think this product is good for a party or a get together. It's pretty to look at as well. Simplicity of sound at it's finest. And also on my invoice I received a coupon at blinq.com I do plan on using it soon. I give it a 5-star review. The thing is pretty awesome and it's a good deal!

Love love love it. Plays perfect. Great sound. I have wanted a Bose system for my iPod forever. Arrived in perfect condition. I also love the V5.1 wireless music receiver. Did not know there was any such thing. Now I can also listen to my Amazon Music on the Bose sound system. Received this sooner than expected so I am pleasantly surprised. Cannot say enough good about this system and the seller Nordwind USA.

This second-hand speaker system from Bose has a great sound and is much heavier than expected so sits well on a table. My only negative comment is that the description said something about a 'scratch' on the back of the remote. It is more than a scratch but I was able to open it for the battery with a large screwdriver.

The Bose SoundDock has the Bose quality sound you would expect. It is a great way to play your IPOD, just plug it into the dock and play. You do not have any control over bass and treble, just volume. The remote has a good feel to it and responds well. There is a small green light in the dock that lights up each time you press a remote button. You will usually use the remote to change the volume, select the next or previous track and turn it on/off. The SoundDock itself only has 2 buttons for volume up and down. The volume goes louder than I expected and I never have turned it up all the way, even when the kids are playing their IPODs. There are a few things they could have improved......The power cord has the transformer built into the middle of the cord, it should have been built into the unit. The power cord plugs straight into the back of the SoundDock with a small round plug and it will come out easily if the unit is moved. The docking station is a seperate piece that is attached and it moves around a little which makes it feel loose. There isn't an on/off switch on the unit, just the remote, so you have to turn the IPOD off or use the remote to turn them both off, or just pull the IPOD out. My SoundDock was missing one of the stick on rubber feet on the bottom. I called Bose support and they mailed me one free. Overall it's a great quality unit where it counts but Bose cut corners where they could on the rest of it. We do love it and use it almost everyday.

Wow..the sound is absolutely incredible. I went and gave this device a second chance and saved a lot of money. Im so glad I did. It gave my old iPad new life. I can listen to all the music that is on it again without a wired headset. Had it on all day Thanksgiving and the unit also charged my ipod and when I went to turn it off. It had a full charge. The unit has a great bass and volume can go very loud. Sound quality is what you'd expect from Bose. Im so glad I read the reviews on this. I was on the fence with this. So very Happy with this product. It was so easy to plug in and start listening. The ipod connected right in on the pins. Couldn't be easier. It's perfect. Don't be afraid to give a product a 2nd chance. My family and friends were very impressed with the sound. I wish the video sound would give it justice.

I originally got one of these because I wanted a means of playing my iPod that was smaller and that could be used in my dining room when I was putting jigsaw puzzles together. I wanted a remote as well, because I'm lazy and didn't want to get up and down. I had a Memorex player which was nice, but it didn't have the richness of sound that I got from my bigger units (with amps and equalizers). I figured Bose was great and decided to try it. I stumbled across this Bose system when I was searching. I love bass in music and was a bit afraid it wouldn't come through as much as I wanted, but this unit produces a sparkling, clear sound in which you can discern all registers. It is true that it lets you hear - and interpret - lyrics that you could only guess at before. I have a system downstairs and in the living room with equilizers, amps and Bose speakers, and this small unit produces a volume of sound that is as clear and intense as the one I get downstairs. I've never had the volume to maximum and I can hear it all through my home - up and downstairs. If you are looking for a really good iPod player, as a supplement or even a great starter unit for an apartment or small home - and your iPod is your primary source of music - this is a great buy. My original unit stopped working and I was fortunate enough to find this one. I always prefer new equipment and try to never buy reconditioned - however - this is just like brand new. Not a mark on it - clean power supplies and cords, a new controller and the same incredible sound. I love it.

I am very pleasantly surprised with this thing. Though not a hardcore audiophile, I do take my equipment very seriously, and have generally avoided Bose based on the recommendations of the "experts". But I am VERY discerning, love all types of music, and only buy excellent quality stuff. Enough about me... My intent was to buy a competitor to this unit the day after Christmas, but I received the Bose Sounddock 2 as a Christmas gift. Its outstanding with my iPhone 4 set to "Rock" for a bit of treble and bass boost. Bass is full and tight, much deeper than I expected from such small speakers. For tracks with very deep bass punch there will be holes...4" drivers can only go so low, but the limits are way down there and I can't imagine any small unit can go there anyway. I've been on a Moby kick lately, and the Sounddock handles almost all of his ever-present bass. Treble is fine...present but not over-boosted. All the detail is there, but it doesn't sound artificial or over-done. But where I think the Bose really excels is in the midrange. Vocals are perfectly clear and distinct, shockingly so. Its difficult to describe, but I really do feel that I hear much more of the music with this unit. It isn't at all "tinny" like cheap units that over-boost midrange. Its...just right. Overall sound is superb, rich with detail. Cello is full with all the bite and edge of a live performance. Opera is beautifully balanced with unbelievably clear and detailed vocals perectly balanced with the orchestra. Anything acoustic is as life-like as I've ever heard with the subtle details that aren't easily reproduced in recordings...guitar, strings, drums, etc. Rhythm and big bass are tight, with much better than expected low-frequency response. Also, whether at high or low volume the sound is the same...something you wont hear with lesser-quality audio bits. So much to my surprise Bose has won me over with a well-balanced and superbly-detailed sound. Hope this review is useful to you.

Bose SoundDock Series II 30-Pin iPod/iPhone Speaker Dock (Black) This speaker is decently small, not that compact for a few reasons I am going to explain and easily packed in a handbag to transport it. It is tiny compared to Bowers and Wilkins Airplay dock but almost as good : it was realeased in 2008 and is still ahead of the game thanks to a solid construction and an iPhone dock that is physically independent of the rest of the speakers and electronics behind. (you can even buy replacements parts on eBay) That means that you can turn up the volume to listen to music in a room without having any trouble with bass vibrations and the device you are using. Bose does not communicate on wattage but it is powered by a power cord 110/220V to 18V 1amp which means I can bring it back to France ! When it comes to pack it in bag, you should be careful but not hitting the dock part itself. As a conclusion, I would say that this product overcomes many other products in the same price range. It does what it has to do: play music and it does pretty well. There is even a jack in so you can plug your DVD player or your computer for max sound when watching a movie. As a final word, any type of music, electronic, techno deep house, rock, rap, rnb, jazz, classical, orchestra, film scores, latin, plays very good with it. Rage Against the Machine, Jay-Z, Kanye West, the Arctic Monkeys, and John Williams would get along for this product ;)

I am really pleased either way this. It sounds great and works perfectly. The service on delivery has been excellent either way a great deal of care to meet expectations and volunteered easy access to resolve outstanding issues if there had been any. There were no issues but it was very reassuring. I would highly recommend this supplier following this order
