Nice book !

Incredible amount of typos (e.g. mixing up of referenced tables/figures), inconsistencies (e.g. description of regenerative/dysplastic hepatic nodules), and factually incorrect information (such as their explanation of in- and out-of-phase imaging). The book is at least somewhat informative, hence the 3 stars, but it's baffling how it's gotten to the 4th edition with so many imperfections.

gastrointestinal imagingというタイトルですが、消化管の画像のみがでてくるわけではありません。内訳は食道：約40p、胃：約40p、十二指腸：約20p、小腸：約60p、大腸：約60p、肝臓：約70p、脾臓：約25p、胆嚢：約30p、腹膜・後腹膜・腸間膜：約20pといった構成で、400p少々の厚さでありながら、広い分野を扱っています。消化管の画像診断に焦点を当てた教科書は最近あまりないと思うのですが、この本ではしっかりと消化管画像診断について記載されています。消化管透視がもちろん出てくるのですが、きれいなCTやMRIの画像もたくさん出てきます。また解説されている消化管疾患の種類が非常に豊富です。〇〇をきたす疾患の一覧(table)が多数出てきますが、これらも参考になります。他の教科書ではカバーされていない疾患も記載されており、消化管の章は素晴らしい出来です。消化管以外の章では、脾臓の章がよい出来だと思います。もちろんページ数が少ないので、肝・胆・膵の領域は「肝胆膵の画像診断」に詳しさでは負けますが、鑑別のポイントが記載されており、これらの章も勉強になります。文字が小さいですが、画像が多いので、十分通読可能です。誤植が多いのがちょっと残念です。
